For my card I decided to use the peach colored peony. Did you know that peach is back in style. It went out for a while but it is coming back. After not using peach for so long, I am enthralled with this color!! This card actually features both the Colored Peony in the Jar and the Colored Corner Peony which you can find at the Fred She Said Store here. I broke out of my usual habit and learned how to flip the image to go the other way so I could bookend my focal point. It was a piece of cake.

You can see I cut out an extra bottle a pop dotted it for dimension here. Then I used glossy accents on top to make the glass shine! The flowers have a light accent of stickles for just the right about of sparkle.

MMSC#63 Doris Mae Semi-Gatefold Card

Once again, it's "YOUR PICK" Make it fancy, clean and simple, or somewhere in-between.

Something a little different for me this week. I took the sketch to a different level. I made this almost like a gate fold card. I was influenced by this huge project I am working on that I will show at a later date. My image is from D'Amour Allure and is called Doris Mae. I chalked her and distress inked with tea dye.

I use lots of diamond stickles everywhere on this. I found this ribbon after Christmas in a bin at Walmart for 25 cents because it is not a traditional Christmas color and I think everyone steered clear of it. But I wish I had 100 yards I just love it.

This is the card and the envelope made from the Priscillastyles kit found here. The following is a list of supplies

Here is the back of my envelope. I made a tie closure. My intention was for this to be a keepsake so I wanted the envelope to be a box for the card.

Card Measurements:
This is a 6 x 6 inch card-Cut a 12 x 12 sheet of card stock in half. on six inch side punch with your choice of border punches. Then score your card at 5 inches for the left side and 7/8 in for the right side. Cut a 3-1/2 x 6 inch piece of coordinating card stock and attach it to the right side of the card on the 7/8" flap. Cut a slit with an exacto knife a 1 inch slit at the 2-1/2 to 3-1/2" measurement on both sides of the 6" middle section. This is for your tie ribbon.

For the inside of course you middle section is 6 x 6--my pocket was cut at 2" x 5-3/4".

The right side of the card is 3-1/4 x 5-3/4 and I built the layers up from there subtracting 1/4" each time I added another paper. The Library pocket holds a 3-1/2" x 1-3/4" tag. I made the pocket with a 2-3/4 x 7 inch piece of paper. You can find a video on You Tube for that if you don't know how to make one. Just Google Library Pocket Tutorial.

The left side is a booklet cut at 5-1/4" x 6-1/2" then fold in half. The papers started at 3 x 5 inches on the bottom and subtract 1/4 ' for each additional layer. I cut a square 2-3/4" x 2-3/4" then cut it in half to make the triangle pockets. All my tags except the library pocket one are - 2 x 4 inches.

MMSC#62 Enchanting Copper Priscillastyles Butterfly

See here in this picture, you can see the swirl metallic glow. It is positively gorgeous. I love this paper. And look at the clean sharp lines in the embossing on the copper....magical!!!

I have been collecting copper embellishments for a while now. I was thrilled to use them with this fabulous paper. I copper stickled my flowers, there are two types of copper colored glitter on my Priscillastyles Butterfly. Those are copper colored rhinestones as well.

Here is the inside of my card. I used the Martha Stewart Butterfly PATP, the Sizzx corner die, a cuttlebug embossing folder and a Spellbinders border die cut. And of course, this beautiful Priscillastyles digi that I just can't get enough. You can do so much with this butterfly and it always looks amazing on your cards.

Here is my card and envelope together. As you can see, the paper is shining beautifully on that envelope. I just love it. I have more papers from Paper Temptress. There is a Cream Velvet that feels as smooth and creamy as butter. I cannot wait to use that as well.

Fred She Said Whazzup Chickie Freebie

In case you haven't heard, there is a new site called Crafters Digital Art Center. It's a fun place just full of wonderful freebie digis. There are lots of challenges going on over there and yours truly is the challenge coordinator. Tracy from Fred She Said has posted this free digi over at CDAC. You can see it my clicking on this link here. So come and join us and have some fun with this little cutie....I know I did!

So here is the card and the envelope I made. I printed out my digi and used some yellow colorbox ink by sponging around the edges. Then I took some darker color yellow chalk and just did little smooches of it on the ends. It works great when your ink is a little wet. It just sticks to it. I then used a little pink for his cheeks.
The daisies were so easy to do. I have a medium punch that I used and the centers are made of that flocking that you can get in the Micheal's dollar bin. Then I just stickled the flower for some sparkle.

Here is the inside of my card. As you saw on the front, the sentiment : Not a "Peep" from you! The inside says: What's happening at your Coop Chickie? lol I couldn't help myself. I was blown away by this cute chick and I wanted to make something special!!!

MMSC#61 Santa and Rudolph

Christmas you say!!! Why yes! When I had my own craft business, July used to be the month that we started our Christmas in July shows. So it is Christmas in July at my blog. Besides Christmas Cards are one of my "Favorite Things"! Today's card was made from our sponsor's image from Doodle Palace called Santa with Rudolph. Aren't they cute!

I tried something new this week to me. I colored this digi image with my computer software. It was a new experience and I really enjoyed it. I hope to do it again sometime. I cut and layered all my images. I glittered some of the white and used crystal effects on the rest of the image.

The paper is from my Christmas stash, the snowflakes are left overs from last year from K and Company. I used the following Martha Stewart punches:
