CottageCutz Critterville Tree House

Wow, have you checked out the CottageCutz Critterville release at The Scrapping Cottage.  Oh my goodness it's as sweet as can be.  And don't you just love the feel of spring with the sweet little animals and outdoor feel of the little critter cottages.  These are so delightful to work with.  I just cut out the pieces from some cardstock I had on my work table-it was bright lime green and kraft.  This is what I got after using distress inks.  I love me some distress ink!
For my card I used the following dies:  Critterville Tree house, Squirrel, Little Owl, Victorian Fence, and Greetings Expression die.  I can't wait to make the other little cottages.  They are just darling.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Be sure to check these super cute dies out.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!  See you soon.

Little Boy at the Beach Inkadinkadoo

Greetings friends and crafters.  Here is another old project I did back when I was a member of the Dirty Dozen over at Splitcoast Stampers.  It's just one I had to share because of this sweet Inkadinkadoo stamp that I have had for ever.
Don't you just love how the Cuttlebug Sea Shell dies coordinate with the Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page punches.  The glitter on the starfish and shell dies are just enough to give this the perfect sparkle.  Thank you so much for stopping by today to view an oldie but goodie.   I have been going through photos of images I have never posted here and  wanted to document this card.  Until next time..... Happy Crafting!

CottageCutz Storage Ideas

Hello everyone, and welcome to CottageCutz Week of "Storage Idea's" for your CottageCutz Dies. Here's how I store my CottageCutz Dies. This next week the CottageCut Design Team Members will be sharing how they store their CottageCutz dies with all of you. Its always nice to get some idea's of storage for our crafting supplies, and we hope that you find some inspiration from our Design Team. They will each be posting on different days this week sharing idea's on how to store CottageCutz Dies!
My  Cottage Cutz die are stored in one of those huge boxes you can purchase at Michaels.  You can see that I have rubber bands around my groups of dies.  That's because I like to keep the collections together.  It's just me!!!  I keep all my original packaging as well.  Yes I do!  I've always been like this even as a kid.  I had collect Boyds Bears since 1997 and it took me just 4 years ago to get rid of all the boxes and original foam packaging....lol  I'm a stickler for keeping things like new.
This is another  box I keep my dies in.  I use my CottageCutz die a lot so I keep them close to me in my work area. Christmas and Halloween dies are stored away until the next season.   I like to keep everything in their original package.  It's just me and the way I am.  I collected Boyds Bears since 1997 and just 5 years ago I got rid of all the original packaging for those.  I like to keep things like new.   Maybe I'll change this some other time.  But for now I like them this way.  I am a die-a-holic and require the 12 step program for my addiction...lol  I do use the magnetic pages and binding system for wafer thin dies, cut I like my CottageCutz with the original pictures so I can refer to them when piecing the die cut pieces together.

Well folks, that's all for me today.  Thanks for stopping by.  Happy Crafting!

Altered Paper Mache' Christmas Ornaments

Greetings friends and Crafters.  I have several projects that I have never posted.  This is a couple of them.  I made these as a tags for a Christmas gifts.  They are paper mache' ornaments that I got from Hobby Lobby.  These were painted and then covered with designer paper.  I distress inked the edges.
For the flowers I used the Spellbinders Poinsettia die.  It was fun to come up with ideas to decorate these.  Of course, they had to be pink because last Christmas was a "Pink" Christmas. These ornaments doubled as tags for my gifts.
Thanks for stopping by today.  It was a pleasure to have you here.  Until next time......Happy Crafting!

Vintage Card with White Roses

Greeting friends and crafters.  So here I am today with something I create a quite a while ago.  It was a project from when I was on the "Dirty Dozen" design team over at Splitcoast Stampers.  I had not shared this on my blog.  I was cleaning out some photos and thought I would share it here today.
For this card I used a vintage image.  Isn't this woman just beautiful.  I stickled her dress which looks so pretty.  The corner black die cut is from Heartfelt Creations.  The rolled roses are a Spellbinders die.  I used some corrugated cardboard that has Gesso brushed on it.
This has always been one of my favorite creations. I just love the vintage feel to it.  Thanks for stopping by today.  I have enjoyed sharing this oldy but good.  Until next time.....Happy Crafting.

Faith Envelope Mini

Hello friends and crafters.  Just wanted to share this little envelope mini I made last year and never posted.  It is made with #10 envelopes and folds and unfolds different ways to keep your photos with lots of journaling spots.  You can find lots of tutorials for these on YouTube.  This was going to be an insert in a mini album I made, but with all things I do - the embellishments got out of hand and it became too big!  lol
The paper used in this project is called Antiquity from The Paper Studios as found at Hobby Lobby. The doily stamps are embossed with black embossing powder.
I used Spellbinders dies, Martha Stewart punches and handmade crochet flowers throughout the album.
As you can see, it opens many ways and contains lots of tags for journaling and places for pictures.
Don't you just love the sweet little burlap touches.  All the edges of the edges of the envelope and paper have been distressed inked with Brushed Corduroy.
See all the ways this little album can open!  I told you it holds alot.
Here's how the tags look that are peeking out of the tops of the album pages.  Aren't they just perfect for photos.  Thanks so much for viewing my album.  I appreciate your visit.  Hope to see you soon.  Until next time, Happy Crafting!
