Bee Themed Sizzix Tim Holtz Luminary Die

Hello Everyone and welcome back to my blog!  For the next few days, I will be sharing a "Happy Mail" Bee themed Project.  For today's reveal, you are viewing a project made with the Sizzix Tim Holtz Luminary die.  This has to be one of my favorite dies.  This die gets used a lot in my craft room!
Here's a shot of the back of the Luminary.  No matter which side you look at it-it's just so darling.  I do that on purpose....lol  Don't you just love those Elizabeth Craft daffodils along the fence.  All the flowers you see on this project were hand made.  It's a passion of mine!  Creating flowers to me is so fulfilling and relaxing.
Here's a shot of one more side so you get the full affect of what this project looks like.  Do you have the Luminary die?  If so, I hope you get inspiration to create one of these.  They've been done in many of my projects in an assortment of themes.  Although, a Christmas one has not been shown on this blog.  Guess I need to get busy with that, right!......lol
Thanks a bunch for stopping by today.  Hope you are inspired to create on of these!  Don't think I'll ever grow tired of this die.  You could say I got my money's worth out of this one.  Up next will be a Memory Dex holder filled with cards made with a die from Nicole Silhouette.  You're gonna to want to see that one.  It is one of my favorites.  Until next time, Be safe, be healthy, be happy!

Mini Easter Baskets Cottagecutz dies

Greetings everyone and welcome to my blog.  For today's share you are looking at some little Easter Baskets created with a cute die that is on Aliexpress.  The little ducks and the egg embellishment is a Cottagecutz die.
The bow was created with a "My Creative Time" fun size die.  The background lace is part of the die set.  Isn't this cute!
The little rolled rose on this basket is from the Tiny Tattered Flowers from Tim Holtz.  For a sweet little touch, a seam binding ribbon was ties on the handles.
Hope you enjoyed today's project share.  I had filled these baskets with candy and gave them to the wonderful people who put the groceries I order on line in my trunk.   I try to bring them a little surprise just to let them know how much I appreciate their hard work.  Until next time friend, Be Happy, Be Healthy, and most of all Be Crafty!

Easter Bunny Chipboard Album

Greetings all my lovely Crafty Friends.  Just want to share this cute Bunny Rabbit Chipboard Album that was created for Easter this year.  It's a chipboard album that Michael's had offered in their dollar bins years ago.....should I say!!!!  lol
This album is chock full of CottageCutz Easter dies.  You know I am a Cottagecutz girl.  The dies are so adorable and fun to work with!  The above page has a little pocket holding a tag.  For the bunny tail there's a rosette that has pretty eyelash yarn wrapped around it to make a cute fuzzy tail.
Isn't that bunny in the carrot car a hoot!!!  Yes, it's another Cottagecutz die!  It's so fun to create with these dies.
This page is super sweet, isn't it.  Another bunny from Cottagecutz.
This is a pocket page with some tags from the paper collection used in the album.  Of course, the bunny is Cottagecutz again.  Just love this sweet album.
On every other page the ears on the bunny was made dimensional.  It was done every other page so the album wouldn't be to thick.
This album has lots of space for cute Easter pictures.  Hope you enjoyed this album share.  Until next time, Be Happy, Be Healthy, and be Crafty!!!!

Altered Wood Egg Wall Hanging

For the next few days, there will be some crafting shares of Easter/Spring projects that were created for a CottageCutz YouTube hop that I participated in.  This project is an altered wooden egg that was purchased at JoAnn's.   The focal point of this wall hanging is the cute Quackers & Quack die from The Scrapping Cottage.  The eggs are from Cottagecutz Egg Painting Bunny.   The bunny peeking over the top is Cottagecutz Springtime bunny.  This was so fun to create and makes a great decoration for spring.  Be sure to stop by over the next few days for more fun projects.  Stay happy, stay healthy, and most of all stay crafty.  See you soon!

MY DEAREST EMMA

To my beautiful Granddaugther:

These are unprecedented times in which we must social distance and quarantine and all the things that go with staying away from each other so we don't get Covid-19.  You probably won't remember any of this when you get older so I thought I would leave this message here for you for someday when you understand.

Yesterday, I went to your house to bring you milk and juice which your Mommy and Daddy had a hard time getting for you.  I called your Mommy on the phone to tell her I was on the way after I got off work.  You see, I still have to work and I am so scared to be working.  I work with a bunch of men that quite frankly have the hardest time social distancing!!!  Not to mention how you hear rumors about this family member or that family member of these guys not feeling well and testing for Covid-19.  No one ever mentions if their family members test negative so your left wondering if everything is OK.

You were so excited to hear my voice and you wanted me to see your new Olaf bed!!!  Oh boy, I could hear the excitement in your voice and you kept saying come on Gigi, come on....lol   I told you I was on my way and would see you in a few minutes.

Girl you are the moon, the stars, the sunshine, the rain that brings flowers, and the best of everything this world has to offer.  When you sit on my lap my heart fills with the essence of everything about you.  Your smell, your hair, the feel of the weight of your body.  Peace comes over me and my heart swells with so much love.  The last time you stayed at my house you woke up from your nap and saw me right beside you and you sat up real quick and gave me the biggest hug.  That was the first time you did something like that on your own.  At that point I knew you felt the same way about me as I feel about you.  You are my girl!!!!  There's no one like you and no words to explain the bond I have with you.  I have been so blessed to be a part of your life from the moment you were born.  Your Mommy and Daddy have included us in every part of your life.

When I arrived at your house you were standing in the doorway waiting for me.  You had painted Papa and I a picture you wanted to give me.  You saw me get out of the car with my mask on and asked me what was wrong with my mouth.  I laughed and took off one corner of my mask to show you I was OK and you smiled.  I know you don't understand it.  But I wanted to protect you.  I brought the milk and the juice up to the front door but maintained my 6 foot distance.  You looked so pretty with your hair up and your red valentine Minnie mouse tee shirt on that I bought you months ago.  You are the most beautiful sight in the world to me.  I can't take my eyes off of you.  I told you you looked so pretty!

You showed me your Frozen tattoos that you had on your arm.  You were so adorable.  It feels like time just flew so fast in that moment.  I knew I could not go into your house.  So I turned around to get back in my car.  You were standing in the door way waving to me saying goodbye and I was in my car waving saying goodbye.  I couldn't even hug you or kiss you like I would normally do but I wanted to do so badly.  (Every time I hug and kiss you, you turn around and sit in my lap)  There you were at the door realizing I was leaving and you started to cry...….that absolutely broke my heart my dear sweet girl.  I can't get that picture out of my mind.  Your Mommy picked you up and you snuggled into her neck crying.  By now your Mommy is crying and I am crying.

I cried all the way home because I kept picturing you standing there so sad when I left.  It breaks my heart into a million pieces.  Even this morning when I woke up, I started all over again because a picture of you standing in that doorway came to mind.  I think of you everyday.

My Emma this Covid-19 thing is the worst thing I have faced in my lifetime!  I'm angry, I'm afraid, and I'm frustrated!!!  Why didn't we see this coming and stop it when the first cases came to the United States.  Now we have the most dangerous, contagious virus rampaging through our population.  No vaccine, no medicine, no cure!  The only way to stop it is distancing ourselves and quarantine.  Oh, and wash your hands, wash your hands, wash your hands.   We've been told the next two weeks were going to be the toughest.  We are not even supposed to go to the grocery store.  I haven't been inside a grocery store in a month.  I have been ordering on line and picking it up.  Why???  Because I am scared.  I'm scared to get this Covid-19 because I have asthma and I'm at risk for my age.

Emma, I want to see you get married someday.  I want to experience every part of your growing up into a young lady.  You have a lifetime ahead of you.  I must protect you.  Even though yesterday hurt me more than anything I ever had to do, it's for the best for both of us.  My prayers for you daily are that you will remain healthy, that you Mommy and Daddy remain healthy, and that your Papa and I remain healthy.  It is the most horrible thing to be scared and afraid everyday of your life, but I will do anything to make sure you do not get sick.  That is why we cannot be together right now.

One day when this is over, I am going to take you in my arms and hold you and hug you and breath the essence of you again.  I will not ever take a moment for granted nor an opportunity to tell you and show you how much I love you.  My wish is for you to know what you mean to me in every aspect of my life here on earth.  You are a blessing that God sent to us to cherish and nurture.  You are truly loved with my whole heart and soul.

Until we can be together again my dear sweet Emma, I pray for you and our family.  Be happy my sweet girl.  Gigi loves you so much.

Wintry Fun Tag Holder and Tags

We're back today friends with another edition of Wintry Fun Happy Mail.  This little pocket tag holder was posted back in December in a Rustic Farmhouse theme.  You know, I just had to do one in Pink, right!!!!  lol  This Santa is just adorable.  He melts my heart.  This pocket was big enough to hold the following tags:
If you follow my blog you know that I just adore CottageCutz dies.  This cutie is called Woodland Snowlady.  Don't you love the little Cardinals in her head wreath!  The tag is from Papertrey ink.  It's one of my go-to dies for creating tags.  It's a great size.
Here's another go-to Papertrey ink tag die.  I love this one too!  The bow die is from My Creative Time.  That bow die gets a work out in the ole Cuttlebug!!!!  This bear melts my heart.  You know I love bears-hence I collect a lot of bear dies.
This tag is created with a Sizzix Framelits die called Fancy Tags.  It's a really cute tag die.  Again, you see this adorable bear die holding a snowman.  Two of my favorites!!!  You can't go wrong with bears and snowmen!!!  All Poinsettia are from the Spellbinders Poinsettia die.
And the last tag to fit in the pocket is this darling shaker skate.  I just had to use those resin bows on the skate-aren't they the bomb!!!  Shakers are so fun to create.  The little reindeer is another Cottagecutz die.  Its called Sweet Christmas Reindeer and there are several ways you can decorate your Reindeer.  There's antlers, a bow, and a Santa Hat.
Thank you so much for stopping by today to check out these projects.  It sure is appreciated.  My Cuttlebug has been cranking in my craft room of late!!!  It's a hot mess in there but I feel motivated to craft.....lol  Hope your having a terrific week!!!  Until next time friends, Happy Crafting.  Hugs and Blessings, Carol

More Wintry Fun Happy Mail Projects

Greetings crafty friends and welcome to another post of my Wintry Fun Happy Mail.  The above project is an altered dollar tree storage container you can find in the tool section.  Isn't this such a sweet snowman!!!  This box was filled with snap button jewelry.  Have you seen snap button jewelry?  I have a collection and love it.  This box is perfect to slip in your suitcase so that you will have a collection of wonderful pieces to wear on your vacation.
Here is a little Gable Box that was created to house some delicious candy.  The poinsettia here was created with the Spellbinders Poinsettia die.
Creating tags is one of my favorite things to do.  This was created with the Graphic 45 Large Tag ATC & Flower Staples Die 4501687.  It is a very long tag, but the bottom was folded up to create a pocket to hold another tag inside.  Don't you love the sweet face on this Snowman!

Thank you so much for stopping by today to review these Wintry Fun projects.  Hope you are having a successful and happy crafting week!  Until next time my friends, Happy Crafting.  Hugs and Blessings, Carol

Wintry Fun Frame

Greetings all my crafty friends!  Today's share is a frame on a stand.  Isn't this just darling.  This was made for a Happy Mail project for a friend.  Don't you just love it.  It was created with a die from Nicole Silhouette.  You can find her on Youtube.  The die is absolutely adorable.  Ssshhh-I have several of these made ahead-they just need to be decorated.  So this is a heads up that you will see more of these on my blog, Youtube channel, and Instagram.  There are a couple sitting on my table right now that are complete and show another way to decorate.  The poinsettia are from Tim Holtz Sizzix die.  Later this year I will create a tutorial to show you how they are made.  This is my favorite Poinsettia die.
This is the back of the frame.  These are a good size and perfect to display in a place of honor in your home.  Thank you so much for stopping by today.  As you can see, I am trying to be more active on my blog!!!  It's considered a documentation of my crafting journey.  You are welcomed along with me and certainly appreciated.  Until next time friends, Happy Crafting!  Hugs and Blessings, Carol
