Happy New Year

Happy New Year to everyone! I wish you all a happy healthy, and prosperous New Year. You probably have wondered where I went. Especially after the Angel tutorial I did. I can't believe it has been so long since I have posted. Anyway, I got sick one week after I started my new job and really struggled trying to get everything done to provide a Christmas for my family. I thought I would show you another one of the reason I haven't posted cards.....this is it! I made this afghan for a very special young lady for Christmas whose favorite color is purple.
You can see my Gingerbread tree here in the foreground of the picture. This took me a bit of time to complete. I am proud to say that I took this picture on Christmas Eve just before I wrapped this up-so I did get it done in time.

Wishing you Joy and Blessings in the New Year.

Carol

  4. Hi Carol!! So nice to see you back again!! I'm so sorry you were sick for so long. We had pre-Christmas sickness here at my house, too, and boy--that sure does throw a monkeywrench into things, doesn't it??

What a beautiful afghan you made! I'm sure your young lady recipient will be thrilled, especially with it in her favorite color. I was rushing in December to make a quilt for a special young neighbor of mine for her Dec. 27th Bday. I know what it's like to have so many irons in the fire!! I'm so glad you were able to finish this special gift in time.

    Happy New Year!
