Valentine Six Nugget Candy Boxes

Happy Valentine's Day Everyone! Today I wanted to show you some Nugget Boxes that I made for the guys at work for Valentine's Day. For years, I used to make little projects like this for the girls I worked with. At my new job, I am the only woman. I knew I would make something for the guys, but my first instinct was that it was not going to be as much fun as giving them to women co-workers.
Today, I discovered it was a lot more fun to give them to men!!!! lol They were so surprised, so appreciative, and so complimentary. Well, God works in strange was. What fun I had giving these away this morning. You can find the tutorial how to make these nugget boxes here. I used this fabulous "Old Truck" digital image from Fred She Said that you can find here.
This is the feminine version of the Six Nugget Box that I made for the Guys at work to bring home to their wives. So I really made his and hers! lol I used both the scalloped spellbinders nestabilities and the nested hearts for the masculine version.
Thanks for dropping by. I hope you got something wonderful from your sweetheart today. Have a great day!

  2. This is fabulous, Carol! I bet those men never got anything like this on Valentine's Day. I love that 'old truck' image. Gosh, you made gifts for the wives, too. When, oh when do you get these things done? You are one creative and busy crafter.

  3. Carol, these are AWESOME!! And how sweet of you to not only make fantastic chocolate gifts for the guys you work with, but something for them to give to their wives, too. You are one fantastic co-worker. (But then I already knew that you are one ultra fantastic gal!!!). You made these look so special--they truly put to shame the little nugget box I made last week. You are the sweetest!!
