Fred She Said Spring Flower- Soft Tulip

Greetings friends. Today I wanted to show you this spring card I made with the Fred She Said Spring Flower Digi set. You can find this digi here at the Fred She Said Store. I also stamped the soft wheat background with a Inkadinkadoo clear Damask stamp. I love the soft background it gives.

This is a picture of the envelope and card together. I used Spellbinders Labels 4 and Labels 6. The Punch Around the Page is the Corner Modern Garland and the Wing Modern Garland by Martha Stewart.

The flourishes are a sizzx die and the branches are a Martha Stewart Punch. The flowers are from the Bridal section at Micheal's and the edges have been distressed with Rangers Antique Linen. Of course, my favorite embellishment "stickles" was used on this as well. My paper is K & Company.

This is the inside of the card. I stamped the damask again on the inside. I think it will look so pretty behind my handwritten sentiment. I really thought I toned down some of my embellishments but looking at this now...gosh I have a lot of punches....lol There is a minimum of 74 punches on this card. That is not including the die cuts. I count 14 die cuts. No wonder I go through "B" plates on my cuttlebug like there is no tomorrow!!! lol

  17. What brand/color ink is that 'wheat' you used for the damask? I really like it. I might even own it, if it's a Distress Ink, but I don't recognize it here.

So, this card is like Wowzers! Love that soft pink tulip, emerging from the center of the card, just like the tulips emerging from our moist ground here in New Jersey. And all that lovely white "trellis" work.....just gorgeous, Carol! (are you selling your work? I mean, really, you should be!!)
