Fred She Said Tulip Bouquet Digi

Today is tea party day over at Splitcoast Stampers. You can find the scoop on this fun challenge just by clicking here. Our destination station is Winnipeg, Canada. I will be sending my card to "Kay" who is 91 years old and will be having a Birthday soon who lives in Winnipeg. She likes Tulips so we are making cards with Tulips. I sure wish I could be there when she opens her mailbox to all these beautiful cards.

My card today is using the Fred She Said Tulip Bouquet Digi you can find here and the tulips from the spring flower collection found here. I colored them with Copic Markers and popped it on Spellbinders Labels 6 dies. The border punch is from Martha Stewart called Gothic Arches as well as the small butterfly punch. The Sentiment is something I got on clearance and don't remember the company, but it is stamped on Spellbinders Fancy Tag 1 die.

This is called the Funky Fold and you can find the video here at Cher's blog. I applied crystal effects on the tulip container to make it look porcelain. I machine stitched all the cardstock together and I also ran it through my cuttlebug with the hounds-tooth embossing folder. Thanks for stopping by today. Come join us in the Tea Party. I know you will have a blast.

  5. The tulips are just spectacular and I like that you added them to the bottom corners. Oh, to have time to do all these techniques like the funky fold. Beautifully created, Carol! I am thinking Kay will love every card she receives and look at them over and over. What a great cause.
