Tilda Twins at the Teaparty

Greetings blog friends. I wanted share with you today a card I made for the Tea Party over at Splitcoast Stampers. I just started playing over there the last month. I love the concept of sending my card to a complete stranger to cheer or brighten their day. This week our destination is whoever loads their card to the left of us. And can you imagine the luck of the draw would have it that I am sending this card to my former Design Team Sister Phyllis (sparkleplenty) from Midnight Madness. Is that cool??? lol

I also wanted to play the Magnolia Down Under Sketch Challenge. They have an awesome sketch which is right up my alley for my style of card making. You can click on the link in my Challenge roll at the bottom of this post to join us.

There is so much detail on this card, I may miss something:
Spellbinders: Parisian Motifs, Parisian Accents, Foliage. Large Circles
Martha Stewart-Eyelet Lace Border Punch, Large Butterfly, Small Butterfly
Cuttlebug-Roses Embossing Folder
Prima Flowers, Pearls, Heart Pearls, Rhinestone circled pearls, Ribbon, Stickles,
Image: Tilda with Cherries

Also there is a tag behind the Tilda image with a sentiment. I am so sorry I do not know who made these clear stamps. I won them in a drawing and did not keep the cover. :O{

I wanted to show you a close up of these rhinestone surrounded pearls. I found these in the Bridal section at Hobby Lobby. The wires you see curled are part of these little floral accents. I love the way they look. Thank you for stopping by today and viewing my card. I am all in a tither because Mother's Day is just a week and a half away. I need to work on my Mom's gift. Then her Birthday is May 22. So you will be seeing the fruits of my labor soon. If you could find it in your heart to pray for my Mom, I would appreciate it. Her health issues have kept her home bound since October of 2010. Her name is Rita. Thank you so much.

  3. Absolutely delightful, Carol!! So colorful and cheery. Those bridal-section pearls are stunning!! Colleen used some bridal-section pearl brads on a project she shared today, too. You ladies are so clever to go looking for great paper embellishments "outside of the box!"

  37. THIS CREATION NOW BELONGS TO ME!!!! I was so VERY LUCKY to load my tea party card up right after this AWESOME CREATION and so I WON it!!
    The twins are sitting right here in all their GLORY just keeping me company!! I will TREASURE it FOREVER and as I told you I am going to try to create something almost as wonderful now that I have this one as a guide. Your cards are STUNNING on your blog and in the SCS gallery, but in real life even so much more!! I can't wait to get started!! But I have been known to be as slow as molasses.... I will let you know when I upload it to SCS. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!
