Hey everybody. I don't know how I even finished this tonight, but here I am. Photobucket wouldn't save my signature on my card. Well, with the new computer, I found I have my own photo editing software....yippee. I like it to. Only thing I have to find out how to put the text on my picture. I achieved this one with Gimp-which I love too-but it will take me 5 years to learn everything it can do...lol
Today my card is a tent topper. This is my first one. Splitcoast Stampers has a tutorial if you interested, but I kinda did my own thing. My car measures 5-1/4" x 5-3/4". I didn't follow any particular pattern, I just went with the proportions I liked.
My image is from Fred She Said and is the Fall Aster. It can be found in the fall flower collection here. The color of the Aster is so awesome. I used Spellbinders Scalloped, Round, and Doily Motif Nesties. There are several layers on my medallion. I punched three rows of border with an EK Success border punch. The butterflies are a Martha Stewart Punch. Lots of pearls, ribbon, and some stick pins for embellishment.
Looking forward to a craft filled weekend. Hope you have a great weekend too!

Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge-Things with Wings
Today's challenge at Mark's Finest Paper's is "Things With Wings". I chose this "Boo To You" stamp for the challenge and used some bats with wings for the challenge perimeters. Fun huh! I made this tag to go on a bottle of Bath and Body Works Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin hand soap. That stuff smells delicious. I made this for a gift.
The tree is a Sizzix die cut on a recycled box of cereal and glittered with Martha Stewart Licorice glitter. The Boo sticker is from last years Recollection collection. The bats were punched with a Martha Stewart punch and popped on dimensionals. The moon was cut with Spellbinders Round nestabilities. The ribbon (orange and green) are from Mark's Finest Papers-some fibers and gold ribbon were added for interest.
Thank so much for stopping by today. Hope you have a craft filled weekend!

Fred She Said Fabulous Fall Blog Hop
Greetings and welcome to the Fred She Said Blog Hop. We are calling it the Fred She Said Fabulous Fall Blog Hop. We were to use a Fall Colour Combo - any 2 or more colors from Red, Green, Yellow, Orange or Gold ... and sky blue. For my card I used the Colored Hollyhocks set that you can find here. I was going for a warm feeling with the reds and distress inks. As hot as it has been here in the South this summer, I have been sad to see the summer fade-hence the warmth I was going for! The flourishes were cut from old cereal boxes with a sizzix die and glittered with bronze Martha Stewart Glitter. Martha Stewart Large and Medium butterfly punches were used for the butterflies. The die cut is Spellbinders. If you came by way of Michelle, then you are on the right tract.
My word is HEART.
Now that you have all the words, it is time to go to the FSS Challenge Blog to enter to win the following prizes!
THE PRIZE:
£15 Gift Voucher to Bearly Mine Designs
$10 Prize Package of yummy goodies chosen by Judy from Pizzazz APlenty
$30 Gift Certificate to the Fred She Said Store
Instructions on how to enter are on the FSS Challenge Blog
Entries close on Friday September 30th at midnight EDT and winners will be announced Saturday October 1st.
Thanks for stopping by. We hope you enjoyed the blog hop.

Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge 73-Autumn Glory
Today's challenge at Mark's Finest Papers is a "One" Layer card. May I just say that this was a
real challenge for me. I don't think since I started making cards that I ever did a one layer. I am not even sure if I did it right...lol But hey, I gave it my best shot. Please join us in the challenge as I would love to visit and get some pointers and a lesson on how to make a one layer card.
What you see here is this awesome paper from Mark's Finest Papers Neutrals Premium Paper Combo that you can find here. It is the 100lb. craft and I embossed it with my cuttlebug pumpkin folder. The leaf image and the sentiment are from Mark's Finest Papers Autumn Glory stamp set here. I ran some tea dye distress ink around the edge of the card. I also got two sided tape at a stamping convention I went to recently just for the purpose of glittering like you see here. I learned some cool things at this convention. I particularly loved the glittered images on acetate they were demonstrating and selling . Holy smokes that was awesome....and you know me with my glitter.
So anyway, I stamped my leaves with some versafine. Then I sponged on Ranger distress inks in Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, Peeled Paint, and Fired Brick. Yes, I am not only a punch and die cut junkie, but I am addicted to distress inks. I am hopeless with my "stuff". My husband enables me too. He told me to buy whatever I wanted at the convention. Is he crazy. I heard a story where one lady spent $5,000....lol Not at the convention I was at-but I did know some ladies that spent at least $500. I think I spent $80 and that included lunch and dinner......lol I try to pace myself between credit card bills....lol But, I did take 8 classes but I paid for those back in the summer. I really loved the acrylic albums we made and the mixed media one made with canvas. The classes were only about 1hr and 30 minutes so my projects are not yet fully complete for me to post. But it was fun.
Well that's it for today. Hope you have a great weekend. I will be playing in my craft room in-between batches of Pumpkin Butter that I am making and baking English Muffin Bread. I am making the Pumpkin Butter in my crock-pot and it smells awesome in the house. It will cook overnight and I will can it in the morning. It is suppose to be cool this weekend. I hope the weather man is right as it was 99 degrees yesterday and 96 today. To hot to can!!!!

The tree also captures the light reflecting from the moon. Then for the mountains I used purple ink and blended it into midnight blue as Speedy the Cat is taken it all in for this picture...lol The paper is Recollection from last year. Today I have a Covered Bridge to show you. I chose the Winter version of this amazing stamp. I stamped my image with Versamagic and used Midnight Emerald Obsidian Embossing Power so that my trees would be evergreen. This is really pretty IRL because it has a glittery look to it. I created my snow with "Snow Writer" and sprinkled some white glitter on it while it was wet.
The Snowflakes are a Martha Stewart Large and Medium punch that have been also glittered with some Martha Stewart glitter. I cut apart Prima Pearl swirls for the flourish. Thanks so much for stopping by today. This stamp is available today at Mark;s Finest Papers and comes with another covered bridge in a fall theme. Reminds me of my beloved New England and the covered bridges of Vermont and New Hampshire. Thanks for stopping by. See you tomorrow!

Here's the Haunting Trio-Frankie, Ghostie, and Countie!!! lol Aren't they cute! Oh I just love this haunted house die cut and fence. What an awesome scene you can create with them. The house is cut from a cereal box and loaded with Martha Stewart Licorice glitter. It is so shiny the light is bouncing off the lens of the camera...lol I created my moon with a circle spellbinder die and used distress inks to create the color.
Oh, and did I tell you how much I love the tree die cut too! I used the same glitter on that and cut from a cereal box. You can create such a fun card with these cute images. Not so spooky but really cute. Notice the spider-it's black and glittery too!!!
And one more picture to share with you the envelope I made to go along with the card. It features Countie with a sweet little fun pumpkin sticker from K & Company. This fun set is available today at Mark's Finest Papers. I could come up with so many ways to use this set. Thanks for stopping by. See you tomorrow!

Mark’s Finest Papers
For today's card I used pretty flocked paper from last years Autumn collection from Me & My Big Ideas. The image was colored with Copic Markers. Martha Stewart Laure Leaves punch around the page was used along with Spellbinders Scalloped and Oval Die Cuts. The leaves are also Spellbinders shapeabilites sponged with Ranger Distress inks. The Chrysanthemums were made with a Martha Stewart Punch. Please check the bottom of this post for a tutorial. The butterfly was a RAK from a special friend.
Don't you just love the rich colors of fall. This image brings out the best of fall colors. During the fall I see fox all the time crossing the road on my way home from work.
In closing, here is the card with the envelope I made to match. Hope you enjoyed viewing this new release from Mark's Finest Papers today. There is another image with this set that I plan on using soon that has a pheasant. Love it. Thanks for stopping by. See you tomorrow!

Fred She Said-Pumpkin With Sunflowers
Hello blogging friends. This is an image from Fred She Said called Pumpkins and Sunflowers. One of my all time favorite go-to images for the fall. You can find it right here. I swear you can't make a bad card with this image-it just takes over and your creative juices start flowing.
I cut the background with Spellbinders nestablities, used my Martha Stewart Laurel Leaf punch around the page, made some punched sunflowers with microbead centers and added some pearls. Quick and simple. Sure needed that tonight. Want to know why????
Well it has been awful exciting in my craft room the last two weeks. First I had a good size lizard in my craft room-the kind with a blue strip down it's back.....yuck. Then not to many days after that I had a big juicy centipede. Well my son picked him up and threw him out the door. Two days later he showed back up-I begged him not to squish him on my pretty floor. He was the size of a New England night crawler.....LARGE. Anyway tonight I am talking with my husband and am walking up the steps and there is a SNAKE.....yes.....I said SNAKE. He had his head over the step looking at me. I think he was a pygmy rattlesnake but my husband said no. Either way it un-nerved me and I am a little shakened here. At least my husband said he was proud of me for not screaming bloody murder. Can't wait to see what shows up tomorrow night....lol
Thanks for stopping by. Hope you enjoyed this card. I am back with more the rest of the week with a tutorial tomorrow.

A Pink Magnolia Christmas
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas!!! NOT, but who can resist making Christmas Cards with this adorable image. I love making Christmas cards. And pink Christmas cards are one of my favorite. So what I have here is an easel card with a pocket. Notice I had to make some Pink snowflakes. Wouldn't that be cool if there were really pink snowflakes. Of course, you know you have to watch out for yellow snow....lol But pink would be OK !!!And isn't this just darling. A little tag just popped right out of that pocket.
Here is my easel card and envelope. I used Spun Sugar distress ink on the die cuts. I had so much fun making this card. I can't wait to make another pink one again real soon. Thanks for dropping in for a visit. I appreciate it. I will see you soon!
And here's a close up of this really sweet skating couple. I have been practicing and practicing with my Copic markers. I am so excited, I am going to be taking some classes real soon. I am ready to come back an expert. I love my copic markers and consider that one of the best investments I made in this craft to date!

Halloween Witchy Poo from High Hopes
Wow, I am so far behind on my blog. I got a new computer about 6-7 weeks ago and the thing hasn't run right since the first day. I can only stay on the internet about 10 minutes then I lose connection. Still struggling with Dell to fix it. They won't take the computer back because it has been 21 days.....lol Yeah for 21 days they have been trying to fix it. And wouldn't you know the day the technician came out to work on this new computer, my old one up and died!!!! It's a conspiracy!
Anywho here it is my favorite time of year. I love Halloween, Fall, and Christmas. This image is from High Hopes and I won it in a challenge from Stamp and Create. Isn't she cute and so much fun to color. Lots of goodies on this card. The pumpkins are a Sizzix die and so is the fence. The spider web punch is the deep edge punch from Martha Stewart. The bling spider is from last years Recollection collection and of course the die cuts in the center are from Spellbinders.
How fun huh! The haunted house is Sizzix drenched in Licorice Martha Stewart Halloween glitter-it practically glows in the dark. I love that glitter! The bat is a Recollection chip board piece from last year mounted on a spellbinders circle die cut. My little ghost is also a Recollection sticker.
Oh, and that little metal brad is from Walmart. My Walmart is carrying Studio G. I have to get some more of them. They are so cute. I will have the rest of the package on a project I did later on this week. Thanks for stopping by. Have a great day-I will see you soon!
