I used 3 plain colored card stock and to coordinating designer papers. The Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page is "Loops". I embossed by paper with a cuttlebug embossing folder. The pearls are from Recollection. The heart charm was also a find in the jewelry and bead section at Michael's.
This is a close up of the pretty heart locket charm.
This shows how pretty the embossing looks close up just like the intricate stitching of a real quilt.Thank you for stopping by today. I hope I have inspired you to try to make one of this fun quilt cards. Leave me a comment when you do to let me know so I can come visit and leave you a comment. See you again soon!
Beautifully done, Carol! Now if I could have that in real life I'd be under it with a book in hand in no time LOL! Great work.

ReplyDeleteThank you for the super comment on my photo at SCS. It made my day. :o)
Carol, this is one beautiful quilt card . It's so yummy with the pearls and loops. Those loops would really be pretty on a real quilt and I'm quite sure you could pull that off. Go for it!
ReplyDeleteHave a great Sunday.
It *does* look like a real quilt, Carol! I think it's so beautiful. The colors and patterns remind me of a real quilt I made for my 10YO, when she was little. We only recently 'retired' it, and now there's something more modern on her bed. :)
