CottageCutz Haunted House Gift Container

"Boo to You"!  Hello everyone and welcome to another CottageCutz project.  You know that I just adore these dies.  They are so fun to work with.  The Halloween collection is outstanding.  This week I worked with the "Gothic Gate".
On one of my trips to the "Dollar Tree" I had seen a Halloween Haunted House Box that I thought would be perfect for this project so I picked it up.  I used some K & Company paper to cover the box and then die cut the Gothic Gate four times and applied around the four sides of the box.  I used card stock in Halloween colors to paper piece the design.  I did apply a little black distress ink to the skeleton head.
I decorated the roof with a Martha Stewart Iron Gate Border Punch and also around the edge of the box top with Drippy Goo.  The Ghosts and Bats were a Recollection sticker pack and the Boo Sign with the Squiggly Eyes are K & Company.
Thanks for stopping by.  I hope you enjoyed your visit.

  1. OMG, this is too cute and creative, Carol. I'm sure you sell a lot of dies for Cottage Cutz. When I went to my LSS this week, they were selling Cottage Cutz but they didn't yet have a large inventory...no Halloween. I love this gate and hope they will get in a bunch more of their dies.
    Have a great weekend.

  9. Well, bowl me over! I think this is amazing! (everything you do is amazing, though ;)

The wrought iron touches at the top of the building are my favorite.
