Happy Thursday! Here is a card to share that was made for the Teaparty Challenge at Splitcoast Stampers. Our cards this week are going to Denise in Texas who is going through health problems. She loves Tulips, so for the challenge I thought I would pull out my trusty Fred She Said Tulip Bouquet and create a card for her.
I love this image and
thought of it right away when I saw to bring tulips! Spellbinders
Labels Twenty-Eight frame those tulips. The corner is from Heartfelt
Creations called the Decorative Blossom Corner die. The pearl
flourishes are from Want2scrap and last but not least the leaves are
Spellbinders Foliage 2 sprinkled with a few Recollection Pearls. The
watering can has been covered with glossy accents and, of course, I had
to use a few touches of glitter here and there!
Thanks for taking a moment from your busy day to stop by. Sure to appreciate it. Wishing you a day filled with wonderful crafty thoughts. See you soon!
Oh My!!! This is absolutley breathtaking, I love that image, your coloring is fantastic!!!
ReplyDeleteCarol, visiting your blog is always a pleasure. I arrive, see your little photo and smile, and then see your gorgeous creation of the moment. This just made me think "ahhhh... so beautiful!", right down to the distressed edges which have been glittered, and the pretty glittering in the image and around the edge of your die cut. The pink pearl accents on the greenery look amazing with the white pearl flourishes. I never thought of mixing two colors of pearls like that - looks very pretty!
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness, this is gorgeous. Tulips are my favorite flower and what a beautiful bouquet here. Of course, the dies, pearls, leaves...all just came together to make a spectacular card. This is sure to cheer Denise. It makes my day brighter just by seeing the photo. :-)
ReplyDeleteThis is simply STUNNING, my friend! You made me want that labels die and I had no interest in it before seeing this lovely card. I love the colors the composition, everything!!

Denise is bound to love this card. The tulips are colored beautifully and I love the glaze on the watercan. The way you tucked foliage around the image makes it seem as though the flowers are coming to life right off the page

Wow again! These flowers are sooooooo pretty. Your coloring is soooo good. Do you remember the days when our marker coloring was very elementary - like 4-5 years ago (of course mine kind of still is - lol) - it is so amazing to think about. Love your 42,000 layers and detail here and I love when you participate in the Tea Parties. You and the Tea Parties were made for each other! So looking forward to the day when we can have tea together - after this wedding I will have tons of free time! Hugz!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning Carol - love these wonderful colors and the darker elements just make everything pop. Stunning!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Audrey
