CottageCutz Mr. Spring Peepers

It's summertime here in the South and to me that means every time after a summer shower these big ole frogs that live around here come out and make a racket.  I mean it gets loud and there is no mistaking that sound!  For today I want to share with you Mr. Spring Peepers.  Isn't he just adorable with his hat sitting on his lily pad enjoying his day amongst the flowers.
The frog, lily pad, leaves, and greenery were cut out from two different colors of green cardstock.  Peeled Paint distress ink was used to shade Mr. Peepers.  All the other pieces of the die were cut on white cardstock and colored with Copic Markers.  The butterfly and the bee are so cute and I can see using them again without Mr. Peepers!
To create the card, Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Flourish Lace was used punched on a 5 x 5 piece of white cardstock.  The Bella Floral Frame was cut with green cardstock and fits nicely inside the perimeter of the punched white cardstock and frames Mr. Peepers nicely.
Three Prima flowers were added to the corner along with some die cut leaves from the CottageCutz Greenery die.  Thank you so much for stopping by today to view Mr. Peepers.  He was so much fun to create with.  Here are the CottageCutz Die used:

  4. Hi, Carol! Such a happy, colorful, nature-filled card! I love it! Thank you for sharing the measurements used for the MS PAP because I was going to ask that question, owning both the punch set and the CC delicate bella floral frame. I had not thought of using it as an embellishment in that manner, and it looks great! Thank you for the ideas. Wonderful use of the greenery like that, which I am also the proud owner of, so again, thanks for more ideas in using these products. Your happy scene makes me wonder if that is what your craft room is like - full of magical thoughts and ideas as "scenes" in your mind. Delightful card! hugs, de
