CottageCutz Coin Mini Album

Greetings Friends and Papercrafters alike.  This project is a mini album.  Yes, you heard correctly.  A mini album made from a Quarter Coin Wrapper.  Isn't it cute!  Oh my gosh, it was so fun to make and was an idea born from wanting to give the bank teller I see everyday for work a little sumptin sumptin for Christmas.  She loved it!
Here you see it fanned out showing the pages.  I can picture making one a year and writing my Christmas memories on the tags.  If you get creative you can cut up your pictures and attach them inside as well.
The first page has a little tag behind the tree and deer.  The second page show the tag that was made to go inside the coin wrapper.  It's been stamped and embossed with white ink.  The little snowman is from the Homemade Christmas Gift Set.

The pretty snowflake holds a couple of tags.  The mittens are adorable and I cut the holly corner to fit as a backdrop for the snowflake.
The ice skates are my absolute favorite in this release.  They are just darling.  The "Joy" center on the snowflake is also from the Homemade Christmas Gift Set.
Thank you so much for viewing my Mini Album.  Have a Happy New Year.

CottageCutz Shabby Chic Stocking

Have yourself a Shabby little Christmas.
May all your decorations be white.
Hang a tattered little star upon the highest bow,
and have yourself a Shabby little Christmas now!!!
Hello friends and bloggers.    It's now just about that time before Christmas when I realize I have planned more craft projects than I know I can finish or handle.  I was procrastinating about this project knowing I had cards to make to get in the mail and a project to show you today. I got my little Christmas note cards that I purchased from Michaels, got out some white paint, cheese cloth, kraft cardstock, a couple of die, glitter and punches and went to town.  This card goes together fast.  I am not kidding.  I will have made 8 cards in two nights.  That is fast for me!
Not only that, this will cost 66 cents to mail instead of $2.50 to $3.00 per card that I normally spend.  This is so much fun to make.  If I don't have paint up to my elbows and on my face and glitter all over the place, I am not having fun.  This was fun!!!!  And don't you like my pictures better?  I took my card to work and photographed it on my shelf.  I have no windows in there.  Something about my light box my camera doesn't like.  Must be a setting I have to discover.  Practice makes perfect.  Thanks for stopping by.  Sure do appreciate it.  See you soon!!!  Here are the dies I used:

Tim Holtz Noel Card

Greetings my friends.  Christmas is fast approaching and the festivities are in full swing here.  All I have left to do is cook.  My dear husband helped me shop and wrap the presents......so we're done!!!!  It was his birthday this weekend too.  So I cooked and threw a little party for him.  We had a great time.
Remember this little number I posted not to long ago.  Well this is the card that I made to match it.  I photographed that spool in natural light.   I love that picture so much more than my card.  I photographed the card in a light box.   Anyway,  you get the idea,  right?  I just didn't want to wait any longer to give this a way.
Don't you just love the little deer in the poinsettia.  I think he looks very sweet there!  Love the lacy look of the pretty snowflakes.  And just in case you are wondering,  I have been walking around with inky finger for some time now.  My finger were red today and right now they are green.....lol

You can't see it to well, but there is another reindeer under the "25" on this easel card.   Under that is actually a pocket and I put a special note inside there.

The soft color of the blue and green together are gorgeous.  I just love the soft cool blue.  I gave this to my co-worker this morning.  He brought it right to his wife at lunch.  The report back was that she was WOWED.....lol  Good, that was what I wanted to achieve.  I did it!!!  Christmas is the time of giving and I am overjoyed that I was able to share the gift of a beautiful hand made present.

Thank you so much for dropping by today to view my project.  My wish for you this season is to WOW as many people as possible at Christmas.   Remember those special people in your life that bring you joy.  Give plenty of "WOW's" to fill your heart!!!

CottageCutz Mountain Lodge at Christmas

The Celebration of the season is in full swing here!!!  But Mr. Grinch paid me a visit yesterday and is trying to put a damper on my festive spirit.  I have to fight off that Grinch and keep the spirit of love, light, and happiness in my heart no matter what ole Scrooge is throwing at me.  Your a mean one Mr. Grinch!!!!
The three words that best describe you are as follows, and I quote,
"Stink, stank, stunk"!
Now that I have that off my chest, let me tell you about this card I made!  Don't you know that  somewhere in the U.S. there is a beautiful lodge just like this that you want to just get into your car and escape to!!!  In my imagination I have packed my "Kindle", a tote bag full of pretty yarn and an afghan pattern, and some warm comfortable clothes.  I'm going for a week-see you in a few days!!!!  lol
Here is a scene created with the beautiful CottageCutz dies.  Santa is arriving at the Mountain Lodge to leave me a few presents under the tree for Christmas.  The deer in the forest are watching him arrive as the snow covered trees glisten with the new fallen snow.

Here's the lodge decorated in all it's glory for the holiday season.  All the windows have little greener and berries and a pretty swag on the little porch overhang.  So welcoming, don't you think.  I just want to go right up to the door and open it.  I just know there is a warm fireplace with a roaring fire just waiting for me to sit in front of!
Here is the sign by the road welcoming you to the Lodge.  There's a snowman there to greet you that was built by the guests this afternoon while they were waiting for those Chocolate Chip Cookies to be baked in the kitchen.  Let's just say there were a few snowballs tossed around during the making of the snowman as well.

This card is dear to me for so many reasons and I just adore it.  It's going to my Mom for Christmas.  She is having a really rough time with her COPD right now.  What a horrible disease that is.  She has been struggling with this for the last 10 years.  If she never got that disease, her quality of life would have been 100 fold better.
Thank you for letting me share my Christmas dream with you.  I thank you so much for stopping by.  Hope your Christmas plans are coming along as schedule and that you are enjoying this time of the year with family and friends and making memories to held dear in your heart.  Happy Crafting.  See you soon!!!

CottageCutz Winter Cardinal in the Snow

Holly Jolly greetings to you my dear friends.  Today I would like to share with you a CottageCutz creation made with the Winter Cardinal die, Winter Pine Branch die, Winter Pinecone Die, and Elegant Holly Corner Die. Are you dreaming of a white Christmas?  We don't get a white Christmas here in the South.  As a matter of fact, it was 80 degrees here on Saturday.  So I have to find creative ways to make my creations look snowy and frosty so I can enjoy a white Christmas.

For flowers and leaves I used lots of snow and glitter.  The pinecones also have brown sparkly glitter.  I painted the greenery on the Winter Cardinal die with smooch paint.  This was so fun to create.  Thanks so much for dropping by during you busy Christmas preparations.  I sure do appreciate it.  See you soon.  Here are the dies I used:

Altered Cheese Box Gifts

Hello Christmas Elves and Crafters.  It's major project time at my house.  Caution:  This is a heavy photo post.  It's really a record in my gift giving history so I can look back on this next year and remember what I did!!!

Aren't these snowmen cute!  These are Laughing Cow Cheese Boxes.  Yeah, I know!!!  If you follow me you know I do a lot of projects with these babies.  I had to thin my collection so I decided to make a bunch of these to give away at work filled with candy.

The most I have is two of any one design.  A couple I have only one.  I just had a blast making these.  I included a picture of all of them in a basket.  This is how I will bring them to work when it is time to hand them out.  I'll look like Little Red Riding Hood won't I....lol

They have all been filled with my favorite candy and each box has been placed in a cello bag.  They look so festive sitting in the basket.
Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I hope your holiday preparations are going smoothly and that you are enjoying this very special time of year.  See you soon.  Happy Crafting.

Tim Holtz Die Altered Spool in Blue

Greetings friends.  Today I have another Tim Holtz altered spool to share but this one is in blue.  Isn't it pretty.  I love the blue!
This one is going to one of the guys I work with to take home to share with his family.  Do you have someone who does something special for you?  Well his family never forgets me during all the local High School football games.  For home coming and special events, I will come into work and always find a ribbon to wear just like the ones they are wearing at the High School.  It is always a thrill and touches my heart to be remembered this way.  I want to convey that to the family and will share my talent by making this for them.  I hope they love it!!!
The blue and green is so festive.  I used silver with these colors because of the cool palette.  Again it was fun to make.  I want to make two more-possible in red.  We shall see how much time I have.
Thanks so much for visiting.  I sure to appreciate it.  I hope your Christmas preparations are coming along fabulously.  I am crafting everyday and enjoying myself.  Will see you soon.  Until then, Happy Crafting.

Triple Stair Step Forest Card

Hi Everyone!  This brings wishes that you had a terrific Thanksgiving Weekend and are preparing for your Christmas festivities.  Just about got my shopping done.  Just need stocking stuffes and a couple gift cards.  First time I have been done this early!
My card was inspired by this Pinterest post.  Can you believe that I wasn't going to get this die.  Then I started seeing all kinds of creations with it and I caved in and bought it.  It's absolutely wonderful and one I will use over and over.  I just love dies I fall in love with like that.
Had to make this "pink" as I have a thing for pink Christmas cards.   Thanks for stopping by to view my card.  I am back to the craft room to make something else I have in mind.  Hoping to be picking up my frequency of posting.  See you soon.  Happy Crafting!  I am joining "Let's Celebrate Pink Saturday" with Beverly over at How Sweet the Sound this week.  Please join us!
