Today is my Mom's Birthday. This is the card that I made and sent to her. I think I am on a red kick!!! When I found out how wonderful it is to use that Rangers Brick Red Distress Ink, I knew I had to do this image from Fred She Said in red. My Mom's favorite color. I have done this tulip image in Pink's and Blue's but it is equally as beautiful in Red.
This is a picture of the card with the matching envelope. And don't you just love that Tulip Border punch from Martha Stewart. I was lucky enough to walk into my local Micheal's one day and find an end display cabinet full of spring marked down punches. I think they were less than half price. This is one of the three I picked up. It is so cute with this image. Also, the corner treatments are from a Cuttlebug die that I have in my stash...and wouldn't you know the center looks just like a tulip and also matches perfectly.
I put crystal effects on the picture that holds the tulips to make it look like porcelain. I also added some little tiny pearls on there as well. The butterflies are also a Martha Stewart Punch! Here is the inside of my card. The tulip image in the corner at the bottom is also a Fred She Said image that matches this perfectly. I love using these two images in combination with each other. This particular tulip comes with 3 other flowers. You can check it out at the Fred She Said Store. I am so lucky to be on Tracy's Design Team and get to play with all her Digi's!!! They are awesome.
Thanks for stopping by today.
