Welcome to our "Altered Legal Pad" hop for Day 9. I purchased my book out of the dollar bins at Michael's. I spray painted the cover with white and then distress edged with tea dye distressin in. My image is from Mark's Finest Papers called Christmas in the Country. I did this church in brown shadings and made the windows look like stained glass. The following tools were used to create this project:

Spellbinders- Nestabilities Large Oval and Scalloped Oval. Snowflake 2.
Cuttlebug - Snowflake Embossing Folder
Martha Stewart - Holly punch around the page, Branch Punch
Rhinestones, Glitter, Snow Writer, and Stickles

Be sure to check back the rest of the week as we still have more great projects.

  1. Love the MS leaf punch around the focal image, makes me feel like I've trudged through the woods to find this lovely church and the holly around the edges is great. Another wonderful project :)

  14. That was smart to spray the book with white paint first. I'd still be trying to figure out a way to cover the front with paper, but the spiral bound thing would be getting in my way!

    Gorgeous, gorgeous, wintry scene.
