This weeks challenge at Speedy the Cat's Friends challenge was to make a 3-D project from the one of the six that have been shown so far in the 12 Days of Christmas Blog Hop. Faith has issued the challenge this go round. My project is a bit late as I have been under the weather and just getting by getting up and going to work each day and coming home and going to bed. Today I am feeling better at least!
My project it made with a jar votive that I found at my local "Dollar Store". I removed the labels and created my own with the Spellbinders fancy tags. The image is from Mark's Finest Papers and is called Ginger Cookies. I used puff paint on the frosting part and sprinkled with glitter. The ribbon was something I found at the CKC that I went to in September. The mint was made with a Martha Stewart Punch. The top has a Prima Poinsettia that I had in my stash.
Please join us in this fun challenge. You will be able to get some Christmas gifts started if you do! Hope to see you at Speedy the Cat's Friends Challenge!
You are going to be all prepped for Christmas at this rate :) Love the gingerbread man and fun ribbon you used around the top of the jar. Darling gift jar!

Carol, sorry you've been under the weather. Hope you're doing much, much better. Your altered candle jar is just so darling. And, what a sweet peppermint ribbon you've used.
ReplyDeleteSo 'sweet'! (pun intended) You have a knack for looking at items and knowing how to dress them up with your own decorations. You blow me away!
