Dedicated to Lisa Lynne Wright

Today I am dedicating my post to the memory of Lisa Lynn Wright. This blog hop is to honor Lisa and her legacy in the stamping community.   The participants are listed in this post so you can visit all who will have a tribute to Lisa.   Lisa served with me on The Heartfelt Creations Design Team.  She was always quick with a word of encouragement. She touched us all in a very special way.  It came as a shock to all of us that Lisa was taken home to the Lord last week.  She will be dearly missed by all of us.  Her dedication, talent, generosity, and sweet disposition will forever live in our hearts.
My card is created with 3 Cottage Cutz dies from The Scrapping Cottage.  The bird cage, corner doilies and leaf dies can be found here.  The frame is a Martha Stewart Punch and the embossing is a Sizzix folder.  The flower is from Recollection and so are the pearls.

 Gone Too Soon"

Like A Comet
Blazing 'Cross The Evening Sky
Gone Too Soon

Like A Rainbow
Fading In The Twinkling Of An Eye
Gone Too Soon

Shiny And Sparkly
And Splendidly Bright
Here One Day
Gone One Night

Like The Loss Of Sunlight
On A Cloudy Afternoon
Gone Too Soon

Like A Castle
Built Upon A Sandy Beach
Gone Too Soon

Like A Perfect Flower
That Is Just Beyond Your Reach
Gone Too Soon

Born To Amuse, To Inspire, To Delight
Here One Day
Gone One Night

Like A Sunset
Dying With The Rising Of The Moon
Gone Too Soon

Gone Too Soon

  1. Your card to honor Lisa is beautiful, Carol. What a sad story, though. Gone Too Soon is right...but what do we know about God's Plan?
She will surely be missed greatly.

  22. Lovely card and such a sweet way to honor your friend Lisa's memory. You have a special knack for making cards that capture a feeling without being obvious. Like the little bird outside of the cage while the other is in it - shows how death really is a release and the only way we can fly home to our Father. The rest of us are stuck in the cage of life. So special. Wow!!!
