Happy Father's Day

Greetings Bloggers and Happy Father's Day to all those wonderful men in your life.  Today as we celebrate "Father's", I thought I would share the special man I got to call my Dad.   This, of course, is me and my Dad.  He's so handsome dressed up in his suit.  My Dad went to be with the Lord on October 17, 1997.  He was a wonderful Father and let me tell you about his being a Grandfather!!!  Oh my gosh, he was awesome.  I can still remember when I called him on the phone and told him Wesley was born.  He cried so hard (I can count on one hand the times I had seen or heard him cry before) and came to the hospital at 3 a.m. in the morning in an ice storm just to be there 40 miles away.  I still think of him a lot and the lessons he taught me.  I am so glad he was the Father that God chose for me.  May you all have a wonderful day honoring our Father's!
