Gateway Window with Bird Scene

Greetings friends and paper crafters.  Today I want to share with you a card I created for the "Let the Sunshine In" theme from the April Dirty Dozen Design Team reveal at Splitcoast Stampers.
I decided to carry the leaves from the picture up to the top of the window and added some roses I made with a Marvey punch.  I distress inked them with Tea Dye distress ink and used stickles to sparkle them up.
As you can see, I added some pearls to the inside of the roses.  I also did a double butterfly punch for the sweet little pearl accented butterflies.
Thank you so much for stopping by today to see my creation.  I really appreciated it so much.  Will see you again soon.

Wooden Bird Cage Ornament

Hello friends and crafters.  Today I wanted to share with you a bird cage ornament I made for the "Let the Sunshine In" theme for the Splitcoast Stampers Design Team in April.  This was a wooden ornament I had found at Michael's that I decorated.
I spray painted the cage, used prima flowers, feathers, ribbon, and some butterflies from K & Company.  You can't see it too well but there are pearls scatter on the birdcage.  The bird was in a chipboard pack from the Michael's dollar bin.  thanks so much for stopping by to see my creation.  Have a great day.  See you soon!

Sunshine and Sunflowers

T
Today I would like to share with you my Sunflower card for the "Let the Sunshine In" theme from the April Dirty Dozen reveal.  I am a sunflower lover and just had to do some Spellbinders Sunflowers for this theme.
I cut three of the small sunflowers to create one flower.  I then used some Gala Glitz glitter for the centers of these flowers.  I love that glitter for these flowers as it gives it a nice chunky center.  I colored my sunflowers by sponging them with Spiced Marmalade, Mustard Seed, and a little dab of Tea Dye.
Thanks so much for stopping by to view my creation.  I really appreciate it and hope that you have a fun day crafting your own projects.  See you soon!

The Classic Edition Collection stamp sets and die release is gearing towards the fall season and colder days. A rustic truck, wooden wagon, playful dog, berries, apples, and pumpkins will keep you busy creating as the sun begins disappearing earlier in the evenings. Our card samples will give you many ideas to get your creative juices flowing. Leave a comment on the HC blog by July 24th and you will be eligible to win the entire release.

With this new stamp release this card was created that I like to call Harvest Day on the Farm.  Believe it or not this card wouldn't cost the normal $2 to send at the post office for me.  It is pretty flat but loaded with detail with the pumpkins and fence and other die cuts.  You will love this truck-the door is cut so you can put a cute little dog inside.  I love that design feature-it makes me smile!  This was so much fun to make.

Thanks for stopping by today.  I sure to appreciate it.  Be sure to check out the Heartfelt Creations Blog for the other beautiful creations by the Design Team and enter your chance to win the prize being offered during the release.

Cottage Cutz Glittering Birdcage

Happy Monday and welcome to Cottage Cutz Day!  it's a pleasure to show you this creations today. These dies are just so much fun to create with.  The birdcage die has so much wonderful detail from an open door to two little birds.   It's so sweet and I just had to glitter it up for this card!
The flowers are also another Cottage Cutz Die called Button Flower Mini.  I just love them.  I had fun creating some dimension in these flowers by using the McGill Paper Blossoms Kit.  Just die cut the flower, turn it upside down and fun the tool over the petals, turn back to the front and use the tool in a circular motion in the middle and layer twice.  I accented the centers with some pearls.
Spellbinders Square Fleur De Lis die along with Spellbinders Labels One created the frame.  Martha Stewart Loopy Punch Around the page, Fleur De Lis Accents, and the Rosebud Cuttlebug folder complete the additional embellishments.
This easel card also includes Fancy Tags Two and the Sentiment was from the dollar bin at Michaels.
For leaves I used the Greenery Die.  The leaves were cut on white cardstock and then glittered with some Martha Stewart Crystal Course Glitter.  For the flowers I used a coarse glitter called Diamond Dust,
Thank you for visiting today.  I really do appreciate it.  Hope you have a great week!
Here are the Cottage Cutz dies that were used in this project:

Heartfelt Creations Brookside Manner

Oops you know I was supposed to have this posted yesterday and guess what happened?  With July 4th falling in the middle of the week-I had a house full of company from about 7p.m. on July 3rd until after 11 p.m last night.  Not only that, we overslept this morning and my DH was late for work but I made it by 1 minute...lol   Everyone I talked to today had the same problem.   I cooked like there was no tomorrow.  We had Eggs Benedict for Breakfast, I baked fresh blueberry muffins, blueberry crisp, and blueberry bars.  I made macaroni salad, barbequed chicken breast, baked sweet potatoes, coleslaw, and I can't remember what else.  I didn't have much left over...lol  Hope you all had a wonderful 4th of July with your family.

My card is for the Heartfelt Creations Wednesday reveal.  It is from the Garden Romance Release called Brookside Manor.  Here are the products I used:

HCPC 3477 - Bird Haven PreCut Set
HCPC 3480 - Brookside Manor PreCut Set
HCD 723 Garden Romance Die

Other:  Martha Stewart Deep Edger Punch Embroidery, Spellbinders Floral Ovals S4-356, Diamond Stickles, Rangers Distress Ink Brushed Corduroy, Black Cardstock, Designer Paper, choice of Copic markers, (optional sewing machine), black ribbon.

Be sure to stop by the Heartfelt Creations Blog to see what the fabulous design team has created for you.  There is also a sneak peak of an upcoming release for CHA.  You don't want to miss it.  See you soon!

Sweet Gingham Magnolia

Isn't she sweet?  A sweet Tilda will always melt my heart.  I just love these darling little girls.  These images are so fun to color too.  By the time you read this, it has already winged it's way to a dear friend.  I made this for a Dirty Dozen challenge and I was inspired by the gingham fabric in an inspirational picture.

I have really taken a shine to making my own flowers.  So here I have used the Marianne Rolled Scalloped Rose die and mixed it with some Prima roses that I had in my stash.
I used the Moroccan Accents from Spellbinders for my die cuts and I accent the Martha Stewart Punch Around the page with lots of pearls.
Thanks for stopping by today.  It was a pleasure to have you come by and visit with me for a spell.  I will see you again soon.  Have a wonderful day.

Angel Landing Bunny and Chicks

Tell me this isn't the most precious bunny and chick image you have ever seen.  This is from Angel's Landing.  I was just thrilled when Judi the designer asked me if I would be interested in working with this image, so she sent it to me for free.

My heart just melted when I saw this  bunny and chick cheek to cheek.  This is just precious.  If you check out Judi's Gallery at SCS here (Crafts is her SCS name), you will see the complete Copic Coloring guide.  Judi has made it super easy to color these.  I used her guide to color this and it was really easy and made me feel so proud of the results!
Hey Chickie (I know, I know, I am so corny at times) lets talk about the embellies.  So I have a spellbinders die to frame my image, a Cheery Lynn Flourish (Oh how I love that die), the spellbinders Rose Creations, Martha Stewart Punche around the page and the little chicks marching across the top of the card is also Martha Stewart.  Don't hate me for this, but about 3 years ago I picked it up for $2 cause no one wanted it.  Yikes!!!
Now this is a close up of the flowers.  I cut them out on velum, flipped them over and colored them with the lightest yellow copic that I used on the chick.  They I sprayed them with some sparkle spritz.

Here's a close up of the image.  Judi's instructions make me look like a pro huh!!!  I love how this image looks!  This is just perfect for Easter.  The softness of the velum flowers adds to the spring feel of the card.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  It's been a pleasure to have you visit me today!
