Welcome to my blog and another creation for CottageCutz at The Scrapping Cottage. Today's dies are the Fancy Peony, Fancy Floral Corner #2, Bella Leafy Branch, and Tea Time Doily.
This is an easel card made with the spellbinders scallop nestability set as my base. I then attached the Fancy Floral Corner #2 around the outside edge on the back. They fit perfectly together to give the lacy affect you see here.
The tea time doily is used to showcase the beautiful Fancy Peony die. I used some rhinestones in the center of the flower that I cut from a rhinestone trim sheet, The flower were created with a medium 5 petal punch and distressed with peacock feather distress ink. You can see the sweet Bella Leafy Branch that I cut up and used to accent the flowers.
Thank you for stopping by today to view my card. I sure do appreciate it. I didn't get to my sneak peek yet on what I have been working on. I am going to have a lot to show you soon. Pretty much keeping things under wrap until I get back from CKC in Jacksonville on September 6th and 7th. Then I will be able to share. Until next time, happy crafting and see you soon!!! CottageCutz Fancy Ornate Birdcage
Yikes the weekend is over already and I was just getting started!!! Today I have a CottageCutz card created with the wonderful dies from The Scrapping Cottage. By the way, did you see the new releases-Halloween, Winter Wonderland, and Christmas Cheer. Oh my goodness I am super excited about all of them. They coordinate with last years releases perfectly!
For this card I used 5 CottageCutz dies. Fancy Floral Lace Border, Fancy Floral Background, Fancy Ornate Birdcage, Greenery, and Tea Time Doily. Here's a tip. My Tea Time Doily was used so much that it wasn't cutting properly. I replaced the foam cover and now it is cutting like it was brand spanking new. Replace those foam pads if you find your die doesn't cut like it used to!
The Fancy Ornate Birdcage was mounted on the Tea Time Doily and a Team Time Doily was used as an embellishment behind these punched flowers. The border around the outside of the card is a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page set.
The flowers were created with a regular 5 rounded petal punch. They were stamped with an old Stampin Up text stamp I picked up at a yard sale some time back. Then Victorian Velvet Rangers Ink was sponged on the petals.
Thank you so much for dropping by today. I hope you have a great week. I will give you a sneak peek later on this week of what I have been working on all this time. Take care and happy crafting. Here are the dies I used:

CottageCutz Black & White Butterfly
Hello crafters. Today I want to share with you a project I made with the beautiful Cottage Cutz dies. These dies are so fun to work with. For this card I used the Fancy Floral Butterfly Corner and the Filigree Butterfly Trio,
The Fancy Floral Butterfly Corner and Butterflies are real sparkly. I painted the corners with glue and sprinkled with Martha Stewart Glitter. It's hard to capture the details of this card but I ran the black card stock through a crimper and embossed the white middle band.
Black and White is always so elegant. Don't you just love how lacy the corners look with this corner die. Thanks so much for stopping by today. Hope you have a wonderful craft filled day! Here are the dies used:

Altered Matchbox-Birds of a Feather
Guess what day it is??? Guess what day it is??? Have you seen that commercial for Geico with the Camel. It is so cute. Yesterday was hump day. Yes that is right and I unashamedly look forward to it every week. It means I only have two more days of real work before I can play in my craft room. That is why I just love that commercial!!!
Today is a project share I made some time ago as a Birthday gift to a friend. It was so much fun. I just love making these things!!!! What we have here is an altered Matchbox and enclosed mini album. Don't you just love the sweet birds. They are from K & Company.
Today is a project share I made some time ago as a Birthday gift to a friend. It was so much fun. I just love making these things!!!! What we have here is an altered Matchbox and enclosed mini album. Don't you just love the sweet birds. They are from K & Company.
Here is the inside of the album. It is filled with lots of bird related tags for journaling and pictures.
This is the last page in the album.
The box on the outside is decorated with lace and pretty pearls along with rolled roses from the Bitsy Blossom Spellbinders die.
What Birthday gift would be complete without a sweet little easel card to tuck into the box. I used the same images, dies and roses to match the altered matchbox.
These are altered clothespins that I tucked inside the box I mailed as a little added gift. I just loved making these. I decorated the packaging to match everything.
This was also tucked into the gift. Some little stick pins that I enjoy making. Thanks so much for stopping by today to view this very long post. Glad you could stop by today and join me for a moment,. I will see you soon. Here's a little video with more details about this project.
Thanks for watching!
