CottageCutz Sea Otter Tag

Just a little something to share today with you friends and crafters.  Here is a little tag made with the gorgeous CottageCutz dies.  For this tag I used the Sea Otter w/Fish, Grass with Cattails, Elegant Frame, and Hello Expression Die
The tag is corrugated paper that I cut into a tag.  The Sea Otter was cut on brown cardstock and the fish on blue cardstock.  I hand drew the eyes.  the Grass with Cattails were cut one on light green cardstock and dark green cardstock and layered.  The frame was cut on white cardstock and attahed to two different pieces of designer paper.  The lace trim is a Martha Stewart punch.  Just at a seam binding bow, a paper flower and a crystal bling and your project is finish.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Sure do appreciate it.  Until next time, Happy Crafting.  See you soon.  Here are the dies used:

Sizzix Paris Shoe and Shoe Box

Today's post is another edition of the "Tea in Paris" gift set that I created for a lovely lady!  While in Paris you must indulge in shopping.  Can you guess what is inside this box?  The box was created with cardstock, a doily from a prima die and an image from the Tres Chic DCWV paper stack.  The rolled roses are made from and old book.  The shoe image is a CottageCutz die mounted on a Sizzix rosette.
This is just a little image tease on what is inside the box.  The treasure is wrapped in this pretty pink lace I got from one of the swaps I was in last year.
Here's a close up of the little tag (like a price tag) that was created from a wood tag.  It was stamped with a prima stamp.
Did you guess it?  Tucked inside this box is a "Designer" one of a kind pair of shoes.  Cute huh!
These shoes were created with the Brenda Walton Shoe die.  My inspiration came from LiveLoveScrap (Bona) on youtube.  She created the box dimensions that were used to create this gift set.

Papers from the Tres Chic Stack were used to create these shoes.  Pink lace and bling trim glam up these designer shoes.  The sizzix rosette die was used for the accent along with pretty feathers.
Aren't these awesome.  The heels are definitely a fun element to these shoes.  What a blast these were to make.  Just can't wait to play with this die again.  Thanks so much for stopping by.  Until next time, Happy Crafting.   See you again soon.

CottageCutz Fancy Bella Butterfly

Here today is a project created with the gorgeous Fancy Bella Butterfly die.  It's. mounted on a Laughing Cow Cheese box.   The beauty of nature can be such an inspiration for crafting.  Simple everyday things we take for granted can inspire us when we take a moment to study the intricacies.  The other day I was watching some Monarch butterflies and really wanted to create one.  I love the beautiful orange and yellow color with black outline.
To create this butterfly, cut out your Fancy Bella Butterfly die on black cardstock.  Take the die and trace it on watercolor paper and cut it out to fit to the underside of the black die cut Bella Butterfly.  You will want to cut away any "extra" areas that do not compliment the butterfly shape.  To create the graduated color, use distress inks in Mustard Seed, Spiced Marmalade, and a  touch of Barn Door towards the bottom of the butterfly.  Paint this piece with glue and sprinkle with Stickles Diamond Dry Fine Glitter over the top and let dry.  Once this has dried, mount the black butterfly cutout on top and you have your beautiful Monarch Butterfly ready for your project.  It's super gorgeous.
Once you have your butterfly done you can pair it with these beautiful Sizzix Sunflowers and you have yourself a gorgeous box for your gift presentation.   Thank you so much for stopping by today to view my project.  It's really appreciated.  Until next time, Happy Crafting.  Here is list of products:

Tea In Paris Eiffel Tower

Greetings friends and papercrafters.  Here is an other addition to the "Tea In Parish" themed gift I did for a friend.  Oh how I love this die.  I think I will be doing a few Christmas Ornaments with it.  It's a 3D die from Spellbinders.  It was a lot of fun to create with this die.
The Eiffel Tower was cut on black cardstock, painted with glue, and sprinkled with black stickles dry glitter.....love that stuff.  The flower is Recollections accented with Martha Stewart Frond punch leaves.  The Paris banner is a Cricut cut from Summer in Paris.  I tweaked the cut to get it this way.  Thanks so much for stopping by to take a peek.  There's lots more to this collection so be sure to check back.  Until next time, Happy Crafting.  See you soon

Stampendous Paris in Springtime

Greetings everyone.  Don't you just love the thought of a trip to Paris in the Springtime.  From my perspective a trip to Paris at anytime of the year would be awesome.  For the next few days, when you visit my blog, I will be featuring a gift ensemble that I created and sent to someone special.  I themed my gift "Tea in Paris".  This was the card I included in the box.
This is a Stampendous Stamp.  The flowers were colored with cream chalk.  The Eiffel Tower was cut out twice and popped up on the original stamped image.   Glossy Accents was used on top of the Eiffel Tower image.  The image was mounted on a Spellbinders die and recollection flowers compliment the corners.
Thanks so much for stopping by today to view this Paris themed card.  Be sure to keep checking for more items I made with this theme.  I will feature and tell you about that Ornament you see here in my next post.  Until next time, Happy Crafting.  See you soon!

The Sizzix Poppy die was used to create the flowers.  The Poppy stamp is a Penny Black Stamp.  The Thank You Stamp is from the $1 bin from a while ago at Michael's.    I loved making the Poppies.  /They were a lot of fun.  I also colored the poppy stamp with copic markers.  Thanks for stopping by to take a look today.  Be sure to check back again soon.  I have a lot of projects to post.  Until next time, Happy Crafting.  See you soon!

CottageCutz Parrot and Hibiscus Flower

Hello everyone.  It's a tropical paradise on this CottageCutz card today.  Don't you just love this beautiful Parrot die.  He was cut on watercolor paper and then painted with Twinkling H20's.  Finding different ways to color these die cuts is so much fun.  From Copic's, to chalk and distress ink, to painting you have different fun mediums to use to bring your dies to life.
For the embellishments on this card the Hibiscus Flower die was used from Cottagecutz.  They were painted with Twinkling H20's as well.  It reminds me so much of the lush tropical flowers that grow abundantly here in the South.
A perfect summertime card for just saying "Hello" or wishing someone a wonderful vacation.  Thank you so much for stopping by today.  Be sure to check out all the wonderful dies in the "Tropical Release".  They're perfect for your summertime creations.  Until next time.....Happy Crafting.  See you soon.  Here are the dies used:
