I had fun making this as I printed out my trees on design paper and then paper pieced them. I love to paper piece, it's like playing with paper dolls. I used the most awesome paper from our sponsor this month "Paper Temptress". I love working with these papers. Please stop by her shop and take a look around. You will love all her gorgeous selection!I also made this ornament for the new Christmas image release at the "priscillastyles" store. I colored this with copic markers and cut it out with my Spellbinders Scalloped round nestabilities. I will be having a tutorial on my blog soon for how to do this. Be sure to stayed tuned. Elegant Prancing Reindeer

A while ago I did one of these "Funky Fold" cards and just knew that I would want to do a Christmas one. Black, White, and Gold is one of my favorite color combination. So I have come up with this little number.

These pretty gold leaves come from Micheal's in there Christmas Floral Department. I used the Branch punch from Martha Stewart to trail in between the leaves. The Reindeer is gold embossed and is a Inkadinkadoo stamp. Spellbinders Large Oval Scalloped Nestibilities and the Fleur D Lis Pendant were used. The corners are a Cuttlebug die set. There is a ribbon bow, some rhinestones, stickles, and a couple Martha Stewart frond punches round out this creation.

Here is the card again with the envelope I made. I had some extra pieces so I worked them into my envelope design. Thank you so much for dropping by to view my crafty wanderings. I hope you have been inspired!

Fred She Said - Christmas Cardinal

Isn't this the classic image for a Christmas Card. Not only does it have the beauty of nature with this wonderful Cardinal, but it also has a sprig of Holly and Berries to add to the festive scene. This is the second in the series of three bird images that Tracey of Fred She Said has just released in her store. You can find this Christmas Cardinal here. I just love these bird images for Christmas.

I layered all my Cardinals - so as you can imagine- I had some Holly Berries left. So I used them to accent the inside of my card.
This is the card and envelope that I created together. I edged all my papers in gold stickles so that this really sparkles and shine. The papers are from the new DCWV Christmas stack and you can see there is holly in the stripes.
Recipe:
Punches- Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page Gothic Arches, Martha Stewart Deep Edger Daisy Fan
Spellbinders - Large Scalloped Nestiabilities
Ribbon, stickles, sticker

Thanks for stopping by today. I will be doing the Robins that are in this set in the future. I know you will have fun crafting with these beautiful birds. So stop by Tracey's store and get yourself the set for Christmas and WOW your friends with your Christmas Greetings this year!

Stampendous-Snowlights

Today I am showing you my first attempt with Copic markers. For my Birthday, I had asked my husband to get me a few as I really wanted to try them out. I have been unhappy with my current coloring techniques and have been frustrated with my outcomes. Well, I am hooked now. I know I have a long way to get the results I have seen other Copic users present-but I do love the vivid color and shading you can achieve. Don't look too close as the green, yellow, and orange colors on this are not Copics!! I couldn't get that many. lol But I do have my request in for Christmas now!

Recipe
Paper- Unknown-This is something I had in my stash forever-before I knew to save the names of stuff!
Spellbinders-Snowflake Die
Stamp - Stampendous Snowlights
Doily, Ribbon, various Martha Stewart Glitters, Snow Writer for texture

Thanks so much for stopping by today. I really appreciate it.

Digital Delights-Oralie the Sleepy Mouse

Greetings Friends! Wow, look what we have today. Oralie the Sleepy Mouse just released for the month of November at Digital Delights. Isn't he so sweet. He is dressed in his pajama's and so sleepy waiting for Santa to arrive. When I was a girl I used to lie awake in my bed for hours waiting for Santa to come so I could catch a glimpse of him. Well, that never happened, just like Oralie.....I was too sleepy!!! lol

This is my first Easel Card and a circle one at that. I have been seeing so many cute ones lately, I just had to jump in. You can find a tutorial for this at Debbie P's Place. I just added an extra circle to mine like I have seen others do that slips under and attached it with a brad for a place to write my greeting and signature.

This is a the card with the custom envelope that I made. This card is 4-1/4 inches round. I made my envelope with "The Enveloper". I cut my sheet of paper 8 inches square and scored at the C and D line. I cut the V that the score made in the four corners and then folded and taped.
I just love this card, it just so cute! I will be making more of them for sure! Thanks for stopping by today. Don't forget to visit Digital Delights to see the rest of the Digital Delights Design Team Creations. You can get all the new released at the Digital Delight Digi Shop here. There's so many cute ones to chose from.

Deedee's Digis - Beauty of the Season

Today I am announcing my Guest Designer spot with Deedee's Digis for the month of November. I happen to love making Christmas Cards so this is a great month for me to be a guest design. Be sure to check your Deedee's Special this month, all Fall Digital images are only $1. Click here and it will take you right to the images. My choice of images was the Beauty of the season. This Poinsettia is gorgeous! As you can see I have layered this image three times. The bottom layer has all the image, the one on top of that is only the flower, and the top layer is again only the flower, but I turned a a bit to add more petals of the flower to the image. The flower was covered with crystal accents and I sprinkled some gold seed beads for the stamen.
This is the inside of my card. I just love the Martha Stewart Punch around the page punches. They really finish off the inside of your cards beautifully.
