MMSC76-Wintery Trees

Today's card is made with the DRS Designs Wintry Tree image. This is the first time I have tried creating a scene with inks and I just love the results and hope you do too! It is not as difficult as I thought it would be and I would like to explore more possibilities with shading.

As you can see I did a larger image for the inside of my card. I used the Spellbinders die snowflakes and I stenciled them with purple ink and stickles.

I made a matching envelope to round out my project. This was so much fun to do and I cannot wait to get my fingers dirty again!!! Thanks for stopping by and visiting me today!

Hmmm.... you know, if you ever should end up in the horrible position where you don't know were to send this card, then look east and see me jumping up and down screaming at the top of my loungs "ME CAROL _ PLEASE SEND IT TO ME!". I am just offering you a solution to a dilemma you know *LOL*
I hope you understand how gorgeous I think this card is. It is so warm - it glows! What a fantastic Chrismas card!

I have not used gimp, so I will have to look at it before I can give you some tips about doing up your cards - ok?
