Have a Beary Merry Christmas

This might be the very last Christmas Card that I show you for the 2011 Christmas Season. I saved the best for last. After all, anyone that knows me knows I am a "Bear Collector". Don't you just love the Popcorn Bears. He is so sweet catching snowflakes in his Santa hat. I get the warm fuzzies looking at this card.
I have a hard time taking pictures of cards that are red. I took this outside and it didn't come out any better than the artificial light. Trust me when I say it is pretty IRL. I used polar flower soft on the Santa Costume with fur and sprinkles some glitter in it while the glue was still we. Martha Stewart Arctic Snow punch around the page and doily heart border was used on this card. The bear was colored with copic markers. Sizzix Tom Holtz on the Edge die Snowflakes was used on the top. I applied lots of glitter. I placed a soft fuzzy snowflake from the dollar store under the main focal point and punched a bunch of small snowflakes studded with rhinestones to make it look like Popcorn was catching them in his Santa hat. This card is embarking on a journey today to someones house. You can never have to many bears in your house!!!! Just ask me. lol

Thanks for taking a look today. I feel a little better breathing today, but I hurt my ribs last night trying not to sneeze because it hurts so much to sneeze!!! It's always something isn't it. And my back side looks like it was decorated for Christmas with all the blue marks....lol I did finish wrapping presents last night and we have downsized the cooking I usually do for Christmas eve and Christmas dinner. That will help-I can rest more. That's it for the news here today. Busy day at work as we are only working a half day tomorrow.

Don't you mean the card is 'em-bear-king' on its way to someone? (sorry, couldn't resist the pun!)

This is a perfect "Bearzi" card, for obvious bear related reasons. He is SO cute! Love how you gave him some soft edging for his suit.

Glad you are feeling a little better. Knowing how sick you've felt makes me even more appreciative for that pretty, pretty ornament I received yesterday! Thank you! And Merry Christmas, too. May 2012 be better for all of us.

OM! I didn't even know you were sick - I have been so busy at work, I didn't even check anything. You didn't mention it in your email... I feel awful. What a horrible friend I am!!! I am glad you are little better. I hope your Christmas is wonderful.

To your card - it is so beautiful. I can see all the dimension and the colors are wonderful. Crystal and I got your church card out again last night and just took in the beauty. She told me I should learn to make cards like you. I told her I would have to take lessions in person because it is just way above me!!! This is really stunning and really you.

Hugz of good health and love to you Carol!!!

Merry Christmas.

Carol, this is so precious. I know you give all your bears the 'bestest' home ever. Love all the fluff on this one.

Sounds as if you need lots of rest, Carol. Hope you get some over the holidays. BTW, glad you liked my wild tale about the tree and my tumble (fake as it was). :-)
