Heartfelt Creations-Pine Cone Boughs

This is my second creation this week for Heartfelt Creations. I decided to play with the Pine Cone in the Holly Berry Filler PreCut Set. I just love working in layers and die cuts and punches. This card is really layered and it was so fun to do. I must admit that I enjoyed putting puzzles together when I was younger and working with layered cards is like putting puzzles together. It's cutting die cuts and punches and arranging them to fit together in a pleasing Here are the products I used.

Other: Martha Stewart Ribbon Loop Punch Around the Page, Cuttlebug Holly embossing folder, Rangers Vintage Linen Distress Ink, Ranger Enamel Accents, Art Glitter Crystal, Pearls, Diamond Stickles, sheer 1” ribbon. Paper: Green, White, Brown-cardstock (CS). Small print Green Designer paper.

So there you have it. Yesterday I had the pleasure of celebrating my Birthday (Oct 25) with my dear friend Peggy. We went to Longhorn's for lunch-Lobster Chowder and Strawberry Chicken Salad. It was so good I ate every bit of Peggy surprised me with a My Story Binder and a beautiful black rhinestone cuff bracelet-it's gorgeous. I can't wait to try the Binder out. Carol--these pine cones are truely lovely!!! You colored them beautifully! I love the little bit of "snow" on each of them. Makes me want to have a White Christmas! Take care my friend.

Fabulous use of the loopy punches and fancy labels for a great pop of white and an airy feel to the card. Wonderfully coloured pine cones too!

Just beautiful, Carol. I enlarged it to get a better view. The snow on the pinecones looks awesome and that ribbon is gorgeous.
I still love jigsaw puzzles and used to have one going a lot until cardmaking came along. It's been a while since I did one.
