Up Up and Away

What do we have here?  Well it happens to be a card I made for Heartfelt Creations with a Couture Creations Embossing folder from the World Fair Collection called Ascension.  I really would have liked to try my hand at steamp punk with this, but I will another time for sure.  This embossing folder really sparked my creative interest.

Here is what I used to create this:
Couture Reations World Fair Collection: Ascension Embossing Folder
HCPC 3363 Inspire Me Sentiments PreCut Set
HCD 716 Layered Elegant Swirl Die
HCD 713 Decorative Lace Border Die
HCD 703 Daisy Patch Die

Product ID: 472123 Spellbinders Foliage Shapeabilities
Product ID: 424413 Martha Stewart Garden Trellis Punch
Product ID: 354810 Spellbinders Classic Scallop Circle Large

Other: Martha Stewart Branch Punch, Recollection Pearls, Crochet thread,Stardust Stickles, Ribbon, White and Black Cardstock, Designer Paper.

As you can see in this picture, I cut away parts of the hot air balloon to show the card stock color underneath and give it an airy look.  The flowers were inspired by Andrea Ewen's beautiful creation from last week.

Thanks for visiting me today.  Be sure to stop by the Heartfelt Creations Blog for the complete instructions on how to create this card for yourself!

Carol, what a super creation. I thought your title meant you had left on vacation already. LOL That is such an interesting folder....sure got my attention. BTW, I have no doubt you can do steam punk with the best of them.

Oh my goodness...this is stunning, Carol! Beautiful use of white and pearls, and embossing, and flowers....oh, I could gush on and on! Your flowers came out marvelously...just the right amount of curl to make them look so life-like. Absolutely amazing use of die cuts, too...Remarkable!
