Scrapping Cottage-Easter Cascade Card
Hi Bloggers! Today I have a cascading card to show you. I am becoming a technique junkie. I am lovin' trying new things. I saw this technique on Splitcoast Stampers. You can get all the instructions by clicking here.
Look how cute these "Shower Peepers" are. They are all just darling and this style card lets me show them all off. They are just filled with personality!
This little guy is all smiles. I cut him with yellow card stock and dry brushed the edges with black ink then I followed the little cut lines to add the "feathers" and added a few more of those lines around the whole image. I gave him character with some blushed cheekcs (Copic R20),
When I first saw this chick I said, "Yep, that is exactly what I look like when it is house cleaning day". lol Isn't she adorable!

Heartfelt Creations-Zipper Pocket Birthday Card
Today is Heartfelt Creation Wednesday and I have another card with the "My Guy" set. I am just having a blast with this stamp set. Be sure to stop by the Heartfelt Creation blog to see all the other DT creations as well. The girls have been Wowing me with their creations and I wouldn't want you to miss there creativity with this set.
Have you ever had an idea and started backwards....yep that's me. I have seen beautiful zipper flowers everywhere. They are even in the beading section at Michael's. They sell the zipper flowers to use in making headbands. So I went to Walmart the other day and picked up the longest zipper they had on the rack-it was 9". So Saturday while sitting in my craft room I decided to make the zipper flowers for my card. Well, I found some tutorials and I should have bought a 17" zipper...lol Any way I still like them even though I wish they were bigger. I need to go to JoAnn's and get me a nice long zipper!!!
Here's a close up of those zipper flowers. I have a box of these studs left over from my square dancing days-oh yeah you heard me right...lol I used to make all my own dresses and my husband matching shirts-we were a pair!!!
I thought I would also show you my images. The boots and hat and pocket were all colored with distress inks. Easy peasy!
Picked up this pretty flower charm on clearance at Michael's. Again I have another small stud in the lace in the pocket and the corners-just like a pair of jeans. Here is a list of products I used:
HCPC 3460 Morning On the Farm PreCut Set
HCPC 3457 Birch Tree PreCut Set
HCPC 3307 Jean/PocketBall Can PreCut Set
HCD 720 Western Broncos
HCD 713 Decorative Lace Border
HCD 717 Layered Scallope Posy Die
Other: Hemp 20lb Cord, Floral Charm, Gold Studs, 1 nine inch jean zipper, crystal stickles, Rangers Faded Jeans Distress Ink, Rangers Vintage Photo Distress Ink, White, Brown, Navy, Indigo, and Green card stock.
Thanks for visiting. I appreciate you stopping by. Be sure to stop by Friday for my other project I made for Heartfelt Creations. Tomorrow I will have a cute project for Cottage Cutz. See you soon.

Cottage Cutz Spring Chick-A-Dee
Hello everyone. Here's a little project that I did for The Scrapping Cottage using the Spring Chick-A-Dee die cut that you can find here. Isn't this a cute gift giving combination For Easter!
I just love working with the Cottage Cutz Dies. It's so relaxing and I don't have to worry about having the right Copic markers to blend and shade on my images. I use Brazzill card stock in various colors. To accentuate the edges of these dies I used a stencil brush and dry brushed black ink on the edges of all the lines.
This little purse was an adaptation from the Technique Challenge from last Monday found here at Splitcoast Stampers. It's called a Box-In-A Bag. I made mine 1 inch shorter and cut out my handles with the spellbinders oval dies. I also adhere my bag inside the box and not outside.
Here is the little card that I made to go with the gift tote. This card is 5" x 5". I used a Martha Stewart Punch Around the Page called Cherry Blossom. I just love this sweet little Chick!

Welcome to day two of the new release. Well I have to admit I got up on Saturday and went straight to my craft room and made the lace up portion of this card and worked my way into making this! I let that piece just overwhelm me and take over. This was so much fun. I have to admit that this card did not take me that long to put together. I think only a couple hours. I was doing laundry in between but I had it done around 11:30 in the a.m.I do promise that this is a lot easier than it looks. Get out that often not used crop-a-dile and it will make this a breeze! If you check under the My Guy PreCut Stamp Sets at Heartfelt Creations you will find all the measurements to relicate this card.
This is the fun image. I have listed my copic colors in the supplies.
And these are the stars and the hang tag I made.
So there you have it. Please stay tuned for the rest of the month when I will be working on more of this style card with the new My Guy Collection. Have a great day and see you soon.Wednesday, March 14, 2012

For today's creation I couldn't help but think of the song "Wildfire" when I saw this new Bronco Stamp. The new release is just exciting. It can be used for both men and women whether you color it in blue, pink, or just leave it neutral. I had so much fun making my new creations with this. It took me in a whole other direction then I am used to going in and it was such fun. I was even able to figure out how to make plain ole brown cardstock look like leather!!!See how really cool that looks. Cottage Cutz Watering Can Tulips
Greetings everyone. Spring is in the air can you feel it. What better way to welcome spring than with a fresh bouquet of Tulips. In the language of flowers, a tulip bouquet represents elegance and grace. What a perfect way to send a greeting to a loved one or friend.
In this picture you can see the dimension created in the tulips. All you need to do is cut out two sets of the tulip from the die on pink card stock. Use some deeper colored pink chalk around the edges. Try different variances of the tulips one on top of the other. Some work together real well and you will see what looks like an open tulip when you put them together. Use 1/6" inch foam to mount them together. Make sure to separate where the cuts are to get even more dimension. These tulips are sprayed with sparkle mist spray. It helps to set the chalk and gives some extra sparkle.
Thanks for stopping by today. It's been a pleasure to spend a little time with you. Have a great day and I'll see you soon!

Mount your watering can on your favorite die cut and decorate as desired. As you can see, I have a collection of Tulip toys in my craft room because Tulips are a great way to welcome spring every year!

Heartfelt Creations Acetate Card
Greetings Friends and Bloggers. Today I will share with you an Acetate Card I created for Heartfelt Creations Wednesday. After seeing this card that my punchie pal and friend AudreyAnn did at Splitcoast Stampers, I knew I wanted to try my hand at making one. I have been wanting to do an acetate card forever-so I dived right in!!! I love Audrey's work and get so inspired!
Here is a close up of the roses I made with the Spellbinders Rose Creations Die set and the Heartfelt Creations Botanical Floral PreCut Stamp Set. I just love making these flowers. You can have any flower you want to match your project.
Here's another close up. I stamped my acetate with white ink (see below for brand) and sprinkled embossing powder and heat set. You have to have patience to do this. I smeared the white ink I don't know how many times. But the good news is-you can take it to the sink and wash it off, dry it, and start over if you make a boo boo!!!! lol Unlike paper, it you stamp it and goof up you need another piece of paper or a way to hide the mess. Be sure to check the Heartfelt Creations Blog for full directions on how to create this card.
Here is the list of supplies:
HCPC 3450 - Cross and Lilies PreCut Set
HCPC 3443 - Palace Entry PreCut Set
HCPC 3407 - Botanical Floral 2 PreCut Set
HCD 712- Belle Rose Custom Design Die Template
Product ID: 376183 Labels Two Die
Product ID: 472186 Rose Creations Shapabilities
Other: Archival Pigment Ink Pad Brilliance Moonlight White, Craft weight Acrylic, Stampendous
Stardust Transparent Embossing Powder, Rangers Enamel Accents Black, Ribbon, Pearl
Corsage Pins, Stardust Stickles, Earring Backs, foam pads, glue dots, glue, black and white cardstock.
Be sure to check out the Heartfelt Creations blog to see all my Design Team Sister's amazing projects. There is a lot of talent and great projects to Oooh and Aaaah over. Heartfelt Creations Prayer Box
Today is Heartfelt Creation Wednesday and I have an altered project to share with you. This is a Laughing Cow cheese box that has been altered. I spray painted this box with white spray paint found in the paint section at Walmart for $.97. I even spray painted the inside of the box and lined it with batting.
The inspiration for this prayer box came to me from the Rosary you see in the picture. This Rosary was given to me a while back and I had it in my jewelry box. I dipped the Rosary in some silver polish so I could photograph it with this box and low and behold I found out it is silver with crystals. The crystals are heavy and they really sparkle now that they have been cleaned. Here is a list of products I used:
HCD 719 Cross and Lilies Die
Product ID: 354810 Spellbinders Classic Scalloped Circle Large
Product ID: 354806 Spellbinders Standard Circle Large
Product ID: 159723 Dries Clear Glue
Spellbinders S4-265 Shapeabilities Cross Collection Die
Spelllbinders S4-269 Shapeabilities Lotus Pendants Die
Other: Rangers Antique Linen Distress Ink, Recollection Pearls, Ribbon, 1-1/4" Lace, White Cardstock,
White Fast Dry Spraypaint (Found at Walmart for 97cents), Cuttlebug Swiss Embossing Folder, Empty Laughing Cow Cheese Box. Batting if desired.
