CottageCutz Cupid Card

Hey lovelies!!!  Today I would like to share with you a creation with CottageCutz dies that features the Sweet Love Release Collection.  This is so sparkly in real life.   The Filigree Cupid is absolutely adorable from this collection.  It's framed with the Sweet Love Frame and I used the Sweet Floral Heart, Elegant Love Heart and the Sweet Heart.   When I was cleaning off my craft table I found the Fancy Lace Border I hadn't used for a project so I used it on this card.
All the other layered hearts are from a mixed package of pretty glittered hearts I got at the "Dollar Store".  They have some cute embellishments this year.  You'll see more in the next coming post.  I am finally back to my craft room and hope to be doing more fun projects.
Just wanted to let you all know how much I have missed visiting your blogs and keeping up with your creations.  There is so much going on here right now.  My son got engaged at Christmas and the last few weeks he has had me go with him to look at houses.  He found a really sweet house not to far from where we live.  I am super excited and joyously happy for him.  We are waiting for a closing date.  In the meantime, we started looking for furniture.  You won't believe the used furniture you can find.  My goodness I picked up an all wood accent table with a beautiful grain design for $9.59.  Tonight my husband and I bought a beautiful solid wood 6 foot by 4 foot China Cabinet with pedestal legs for $100.   I figured if he doesn't want it, then I am keeping it.  So we have that going on.  Besides all this, my Mother is not doing well.  So I have days I am very very sad.  She is in Stage 4 COPD where it is effecting her heart, liver, and her weight is down to 78 pounds.  I am just worried sick about her.  Sometimes she doesn't answer the phone when I call and it scares me to pieces.  My brother is living with her and he doesn't pick up the phone either.  It's not like she can go anywhere except to the hospital-so ME, I always think the worst!  So anyway, just know I love you all and will be catching up soon.  Happy Crafting.  Here are the dies I used:

CottageCutz Valentine Card

Hello friends!!  With Valentine's day fast approaching it's time to share some creations featuring the CottageCutz  Sweet Love Collection.  What beautiful lacy dies they are.  For my card I used the Elegant Love Heart, Sweet Love Doily, Sweetheart Border, and Sweet Flourish.  Doesn't it look so lacy!  I used some glittered roses and flower bling I picked up at Michael's.  And the other thing I wanted to mention was how ADORABLE that Sweet Love Doily is.  It has the works Love, Kisses, and Hugs designed into it.  That is just to cute for words!
Thanks for visiting today.  It was great to have you stop by.  Wishing you love, and joy and most of all creative happiness and inspriation.  Until next time-Bear Hugs and Kitty Kisses!  Here are the dies I used:

CottageCutz Valentine Matchbox

Greetings from the Polar Vortex of Georgia....lol   I live in a tropical climate and it has been cold here!!!  So cold I can't get out to my craft room.  My hands get so cold out there they won't function. I am hoping for a warm up soon.  To think it was so beautiful here on Sunday, I was washing windows.  Yes, I have been MIA for a bit.  I have so much Christmas to take down and store away-and then I always do spring cleaning at the same time.  The house is such a wreck that I take my time cleaning and putting things back in order-I probably have two more weeks of cleaning just because I am working 10 hour days right now unexpectedly at my job.  Today I have created a little matchbox decorated for Valentines day with the dies from the Sweet Love Collection from CottageCutz.    The dies used are the Sweet Floral Heart, Sweet Love Birds, and the Sweetheart Border.  This little matchbox is perfect for tucking in a few chocolate nuggets and giving to someone special on Valentines Day.
They would also be cute as little favors for a Valentine's Day dinner.  The Sweet Love Collection makes it so easy to dress up items for decorating and gift giving.  They are also so easy and fun to use.

Hope your Christmas was filled with blessings.  My Son Wesley got engaged to his girlfriend on Christmas Eve.  He is going to get married March of 2015 on a cruise ship.  So we are sailing away with the wedding party.  It's going to be a lot of fun.  My poor Mother went into the hospital on Christmas Eve and did not get out for 6 days.  She has been in the hospital 4 times in December-she is still not doing well.  Wesley and Jessica are looking to buy a house.  We have been going with them to check some out.   It seems like 2014 started out with a bang for us.

Thanks for taking a look at my creation today.   Be sure to check out all the new dies in the Sweet Love Collection.  Until next time.... Happy Crafting!
