Fred She Said Old "Time" Truck

You know Father's Day is coming up real soon! So, I have a bunch of guys here that love Classic Trucks and Cars. I don't make a lot of masculine cards, but with a pre-colored image like this from Fred She Said....well, you guessed it, I could make one every day. I am on the FSS Design Team and Traci gave us this truck and there are several different colored trucks that are really cool. You may have seen the rust colored one I did. Be sure to check them out here if your are interested!I have had this idea in my head for a couple of months since I picked up these Timepiece Clear Stamps from Sandylion at Micheal's. The background paper even has clocks on it and it is from At Home by My Minds Eye. I stamped the timepieces with versamark and embossed with black. Then I used a glue pen and antique silver glitter on the faces. I used crystal effects on my truck to give it the "new wax" look. There are glittered brads in the corners and clear rhinestones on the die cut.
I used several different punches as follows for decorating the card:
EK Success Scroll Border Punch (I got this for $2.99 after Christmas-what a bargain!)
Spellbinders Fleur D' Lis Pendant both big and small-I cut the small one in half for all the corners
Martha Stewart PATP Gothic Arches

This card is entered in the following challenges:
Stampin' for the Weekend - Summer Travel Theme
Studio 313 Hotspot - Rumor's-Go Your Own Way!
C.R.A.F.T. Challenge - Father's Day Men Cards
Meljen's Designs - Sparkle, Glitter, Bling
Shelly's Images - All that Glitter's
Thanks for stopping by today. I really appreciate your comments. Hope to see you real soon...I am on a roll this week! Have a great evening!

Hi Carol. Who would have thought that trucks and clocks could be paired with bling but this sure proves that wrong. It's gorgeous and just perfect for Meljen's challenge this week to include glitter and bling. Thanks for joining us and good luck. It's nice to run into your gorgeous cards. Hugs, Mel
