Loaded Dollar Tree Tray Swap

Have you seen the wooden trays at the Dollar Tree?  This is one that has been altered.  Altering these cute little trays is a favorite project for me.  You can do all sorts of things with them.  This is one created for the September Swap that yours truly was host of at the Loaded Envelopes Galore and More Facebook Group
Another Dollar Tree Item was included in this swap as well.  It was the wooden Pumpkin ornaments that were altered.

One of the requirements was to include a Memorydex Card.  This one was created with a pumpkin shaker die from Aliexpress.
Here is one of the altered pumpkins all decorated in packaging with a beautiful bag topper.
I love how they look together.  They are fun and easy to make.  There is a tutorial on my Youtube channel under the Loaded Dollar Tree Tray Swap.
Love this beautiful paper from Michael's.  This darker pumpkin is so beautiful.  Thank you so much for stopping by today to view this lovely project.  Keep checking back for more terrific projects to inspire you.  Happy Crafting, Friends!

Loaded Envelop Box Swap

Over on the facebook group Loaded Envelopes Galore and More, I was the guest designer for the month of October.  The swap was for either a Fall or a Halloween Loaded Envelope Box.  There is a tutorial for this box on my youtube channel here:  https://youtu.be/HGIFqOT0l-A
To load the box 2 small tags were required.  These are ones that were included in the Halloween box.  The smiling Jack-O-Lanterns are so fun!
Two altered small treat bags from Michael's was also a requirement.  Here you see these adorable bags with Cottagecutz dies.
One card was also a requirement.  This card also features a Cottagecutz die.

Here are the altered bags for the Fall Loaded Envelop Box

This card was included in the Fall themed Loaded Envelope Box.  Thank you so much for stopping by today.  I appreciate your visit and look forward to sharing more projects with you.  Happy Crafting!

Altered Dollar Tree Foam Carvable Pumpkins

Have you seen the carvable orange pumpkins at the Dollar Tree  Do you manage to pick a couple up every year?  Well so do I....lol  I've painted these before and they turned out beautifully.  But, I wanted to do something different and this fits the bill.  The above pumpkin was decoupaged with tissue paper that was also found at the Dollar Tree.

Here is an example of images that were cut from fall themed napkins.  You peel the backing off a 2 ply napkin and cut the images out.  They can be decoupaged right on to your painted pumpkin.  They turn out beautiful.  I used the gloss Modge Podge to seal the pumpkins.  I like how glossy they look.  Almost like ceramic or glass.

Thanks so much for stopping by today.  It was a pleasure to show you my pumpkins.  Hope you give it a try.  Until next time friends, happy crafting.

Fall/Autumn Memorydex Tray and Cards

Don't you just love fall.  Fall is one of my favorite seasons to craft.  Pumpkins just make me smile and Sunflowers brighten my day.  What you see here is a wooden tray from the Dollar Tree that is altered.  It is the perfect size to hold Memorydex Cards.
The first card is this adorable fall truck filled with pumpkins.  Doesn't it make you smile!
The second card features a Pumpkin Pie Shaker die from Aliexpress.  It's just the sweetest die and perfect for a fall project.
The third card features a chipboard sentiment found at Hobby Lobby along with the cut pumpkin in the corner.
This little owl in the pumpkin is irresistible.  It's a super cute Cottagecutz die.
For this card we have a Shaker Pumpkin die from Aliexpress.
This card displays an altered Leaf Coaster that can be found at Hobby Lobby.
This adorable Scarecrow die is another Cottagecutz die.  He's just too cute for words!
And what memorydex project for fall would be complete without a little Pumpkin
Spice!  This Gingerbread man is holding a pumpkin pie.
What would fall be without apples and apple picking.  Both the apple tree and the apple basket are Cottagecutz dies.
This is such a great fall image.  This is also a Cottagecutz die called Autumn Centerpiece.
Thank you so muck for viewing this project today.  Hope it inspires you to create something fabulous for your fall decorations.  Until next time, Happy Crafting my friends!

For todays project share, you are seeing altered Dollar Tree Velvet Pumpkins.  These pumpkins are beautiful on there own, but I just had to decorate them further.

This lovely mauve pumpkin was decorated with Victorian Velvet Distress Ink Sunflowers.
A beautiful sage green velvet pumpkin with Bundles Sage Distress Ink Sunflowers.
Classic Orange colored pumpkin with classic yellow sunflowers.
The gold leaves are a Tim Holtz Bigz Die called Tattered Leaves.  It has a matching embossing folders.  Don't you think the leaves make these pumpkins so elegant!

Altered Dollar Tree Wood Pumpkins

Have you seen these Wooden Pumpkins at the Dollar Tree?  I picked up just two not knowing what the plan was for them.  They were purchase probably in the beginning of August.  I was looking at them the other day and decided what I wanted to do with them.  I painted them and then placed some designer paper on the areas of the pumpkin that is raised up on the pumpkin.  I layered some dies in the center just as if I was decorating a card front and this is what I got.  I love these so very much!  This truck die was just laying around in my stash....it was just begging to be the focal point of this design.

For this one, it was painted Terra Cotta (Apple Barrel).  How could I resist this cute little Pumpkin Spice Gingerbread man, right!  This is so adorable.  Of course, now that I have made these.....I want to make more.  Unfortunately, my Dollar Tree doesn't have any more of these pumpkins.  Looks like I will have to keep this project in mind next year when I am shopping at the Dollar Tree.

Thanks for stopping by, I appreciate your visit.  Until next time.....Happy Crafting!
