MMSC#44 Wags and Whiskers Bear Hug

Greetings bloggers. Spring has sprung in Georgia. We had a cold start this morning, but the temperature has reached 70 today. School is going good for me. I am amazed how much I am learning and want to learn. I do have to study though everyday. There are just so many medical terms....I have to do it in blocks to remember them all
Today's card for the Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge is a Wags and Whiskers Stamp called Bear Hugs provided to me by this week's sponsor Stamp and Create. I was thrilled to get this sweet little girl holding a bear. If you have been visiting my blog...then you know I love and collect bears. This is just darling. I paper pieced her dress and the bear.
Also, in the background you can see that I created an envelope. This is a 6 x 6 Priscillastyles kit that can be purchase here. If you are like me, and like to add lots of embellishments to your cards, then you need to get this kit. It makes a nice box style envelope to present your cards in so that you don't smash all that precious work you did!!!To create this card I stitched around the outer layers, used the Martha Stewart around the page punch, and the corners are a die from cuddlebug. On the inside the flowers are also a Martha Stewart punch. I kept this card pretty basic and this is the closest you will ever see me get to a Clean and Simple Card.....LOL

As close as you can get to CAS, Carol :) I need to take some lessons from you on layering. Sometimes I get so slow... and think I have no idea what to do next. Lol. Wish I had some more of your skill. Your card is so pretty, my little 3yr old girl sitting next to me , points to it and says "That's so cute, bear and girl!" I sure hope your Mom is feeling better, I just read your previous post... I'm glad you are enjoying school xox ~Jeni
