Fred She Said Daffodil Birthday Card

Can you tell that I have spring fever!!! This is just the beginning of what I have been working on. This is from the Fred She Said collection called "Spring Flowers" that you can find here. This is what I was talking about with my Copics. The light, the dark, and the shadow....trying to master that!!! Hope I can find some place around here to take a class in the fall.
Oh and let me tell you how much I love distress inking. I distressed this beaded spellbinders die with sage distress ink. I also distressed the frond leaves that I punched with my Martha Stewart punch. The branches and butterflies are also from Martha Stewart. The tag is a spellbinders fancy tags. The little flowers I got on clearance last year at Micheal's. The paper is a new release from K & Company. As you can see in this picture, I made an extra circle so that I can write my sentiment or include a picture of my family to the "Birthday" person. I like this little added touch! This card is 4-1/2" inches round and I created this custom box envelope to match. I am keeping the template because I have a feeling I will be making more of these cute little cards. Thanks for stopping by. I sure to appreciate your comments.

Carol, these daffodils look as yummy as the ones blooming in my flower bed. You really know how to bring nature to life. Another spectacular creation by my 'Punch' friend.

You have colored them so beautifully! Copics are fun, aren't they? You enjoy this weekend. I hope all is well with you.

You are so talented. Your cards are truely works of art. I also like your idea about the extra bottom cicle so that you have a place for a saying or signature.
