Greetings Bloggers and welcome to my blog. Today, I wanted to show you a card that I am sending to my dear Mother in Connecticut. I have been itching to do a Vintage inspired card for a while and thought this would be perfect for my Mom. She loves and collects Angels, so I know she is going to love this. Plus it was time to put some more of her new favorite chocolates in the mail since she has eaten the chocolates I had sent her for Valentine's day.
Here is a nice closeup of the Vintage Angel I found. I cut is out with Spellbinders Nestabilites Labels 13. I cut out to two Angels and popped it for dimension. All the edges are glittered. I just Distress Ink Antique Line on the edges that I distressed with my Tim Holtz distress toll. I dry embossed the white papers. The clover bling is from Micheal's. 
Some of the flowers I made and some are purchased. I don't remember where I got the Sentiment. I have had it for a few years and may have won it in an auction on ebay! I used the Martha Stewart Frond and Branch for accenting the flowers. On the top portion near the Angel I intertwined some flourishes that I cut with some spellbinders dies.

Oh, this is just fabulous, Carol! Dripping with vintage details. I love that PATP, it's different from my loops one. Your roses are SO pretty and the frond punches are just the right touch. And what a beautiful angel!! Your mom is lucky indeed to have such a talented and crafty daughter. And to be receiving more yum-yummy truffles!!

Oh, my gosh! This is fabulous! Did your mom absolutely love it? Where did you find that angel image? Is it a Crafty Secrets thing? As St. Pat's Day is my birthday, I am ALWAYS on the lookout for different cards for this holiday. I could never re-create what you have done, but I am lovin' looking at this, Carol!
