Pink Saturday Valentine Display

Today is Pink Saturday at Beverly's How Sweet the Sound.  I look forward to Pink Saturday's and thought I would join in this week with a little peek at some of my Valentine Decorations.   The heart quilts you see hanging here I made several years ago.  I will tell you about 4 years ago I thought these quilts were ruined.  Living in the South in a tropical humid climate you have to be careful of mold.  Where I had these stored caused them one year to be covered in a thick green and black mold.  I was heartbroken.  As you can see, I was able to salvage them.  I used Kaboom Oxi-clean (2 bottles) and just kept spraying them (every day for a month) until I could not see the stains from the mold anymore and here they are!
Over the years, I have collected ornaments for my tree.  This is one of my favorite.
The Valentine glass ornament you see here was purchased at Walmart several years ago.  I make the cupids out of Wedding Cake decorations that I had my husband drill a hole in and I added the sheer red ribbon to tie on the tree.
The white ball with the gold flourishes is something I got at Michael's this year at their "End of the Year" Christmas clearance.  They were a pack of 4 for 10 cents.  I got both white and pink ones.  Somehow I wish I got more...lol  The crochet heart is also another Michael's find from a few years back.  (I have been collecting for a while).
Hope you have enjoyed my Valentine Display (this is just one in my house).  As you can see I have a couple bears on the bench and a few dolls from my Boyds Bear Doll Collection.  After all the years I have had them I still love them.  My husband made my quilt rack.  I am so lucky to have a DH who sees my vision and can accommodate my requests!  Thanks for stopping by.  See you soon.

Carol, what a wonderful Valentine tree. I think you have a tree for every occasion, right? What fun you have! And, I love the quilt and so happy it wasn't ruined forever. Your talent and creativity is really on display in these photos. Is there anything you can't do?

Hi, Carol. I am replying to your comment on my blog, on an older post on your blog so it will not be read by all your visitors LOL - Something must have happened to both of our blogger accounts. I thought your email address was available previously on your blogger profile - but it is no longer there. (was I just seeing things before?) entirely possibly - smile - when I checked my blogger profile, it shows that my e-mail addy and my web page are clickable. Would you mind please clicking on my name's link on this comment to see if it directs you to my blogger profile, and see if on the left column my e-mail addy and web site are readily available to you. Please? Please? I'm begging LOL - I do appreciate your letting me know that my email was not available - Google is doing so many whacko things these days. thank you -
