Happy Saturday. Welcome friends and bloggers to another Cottage Cutz Creation. Today is a Gift Box. This was created with a plain old corrugated cardboard box. You can do anything with a few pieces of scrapbook paper, lace, and embellishments. Warning: This post is picture heavy!
The Vintage Bath Tub die from Cottage Cutz was use for the focal point. It was mounted on a few spellbinders dies. The corners of the box are the Bella Spring Corner. The Bella Leafy Branch was used under the flowers.
The box was covered on all sides with paper. The bottom has a Martha Stewart Deep punched border trim. When covering your box, don't worry about covering those corrugated edges. You can paint them with paint or gesso like I did and you just get a Shabby Chic look to your project.
Vintage Bath Tub die with white cardstock and use your Copic markers to shade the pieces and assemble. It doesn't show well in the picture but I painted the pieces and the flowers on this box with Twinkle Toes Glimmer Glam.
A collection of Bath and Body Works products! How fun is that. I used the Eyelet Insert Card/Tag to decorate the bottles. I just turned it upside down so the pretty decoration was at the bottom and punched a hole at the top to tie onto the bottles. I repeated the decorations of flowers, the Bella Leafy Branch, and some pink bling.
As you can see, this would be a wonderful gift presentation-so don't throw out any of those corrugated boxes that you might think aren't pretty enough to alter.....they are.
Here's a little peek at the individual Bath and Body Works bottles.
Here are the Cottage Cutz dies used.
That is quite the box cover!!!Wow! Gorgeous use of the lace, dies and flowers. Lovely touch on the inside goodies too :)
wow looks very beautiful and made Carol.
Now, how incredible is THIS project! Does your creativity know no end, Carol? I can just imagine how much fun you had creating each tiny piece. Every flower petal is so carefully outlined and distressed. The bath goodies are so carefully trimmed and colored - the die cut set is really amazing - but you have brought it to life with the lovely colors and shading, Miss Fabulous Die Cutter. I'm still mesmerized by your flowers, tho - the choice of colors, the attention to detail in each petal, how well they have been shaped. Then the shading on the tub - and the many layers of pretty, coordinating papers. Carol, love all the intricate die cuts placed ever so strategically on your box lid. And the decor around the edges is lovely, too. Your goodies to fill the gift box are perfect - so lovely in presentation. How pretty all the rich laces and trims are. Thanks for the tip about the bow, too. Still mesmerized. LOL hugs, de
You are absolutely the Queen of gorgeous boxes! (And tags, & cards....) This is a work of art & anyone looking at it would find it hard to believe it was just an old cardboard box beneath this beauty!
Every inch is a thing of beauty, Carol. Someone will be very happy to receive this altered box and the gift inside.
Another fabulous project from you! I have a cardboard box that I keep telling myself to get it out and decorate it. Wish mine would look even half as lovely as yours when I finally get around to doing it.
OH MY STARS! This is just fabulous Carol! Your work has ALWAYS been amazing to me and I have missed so many of your posts! WELL ... that won't happen again ... I'm now following you on Bloglovin' Keep up the awesome work and I'll be back soon! Happy 4th!

Oh my, Carol, this project is over the top fabulous! Loved all the pictures and was able to click and enlarge to see all your lovely details close up. What a labor of love. So many beautiful details, who wouldn't love to receive this perfect box. As I was looking through the pictures and before I came to the bath and body works decorated bottles, I was thinking how beautiful scented soap bars would be...but of course when I saw your beautiful bottles all decorated up, I should have known you would think of everything. Absolutely stunning!
Wow Carol! Who wouldn't absolutely love a gift like this. The box would be a great present by itself but the B&BW stuff is even better. Gorgeous flowers, colors, details - everything is just lovely! YOU can do anything with paper but the rest of us have to struggle a bit to even come close to something like this amazing creation. Hugz - lots of them!

With this, I am caught up on your creative endeavors! Thank you for all the inspiration! I look at the date of this post and can't believe it's been this long since I've visited here. All the summer activities have kept me busy (plus I was sick with flu for a week at July 4th... yes flu in the summer and it was awful...LOL... I don't recommend it all)... hard to believe it is mid-august already.
