CottageCutz Cupid Card

Hey lovelies!!!  Today I would like to share with you a creation with CottageCutz dies that features the Sweet Love Release Collection.  This is so sparkly in real life.   The Filigree Cupid is absolutely adorable from this collection.  It's framed with the Sweet Love Frame and I used the Sweet Floral Heart, Elegant Love Heart and the Sweet Heart.   When I was cleaning off my craft table I found the Fancy Lace Border I hadn't used for a project so I used it on this card.
All the other layered hearts are from a mixed package of pretty glittered hearts I got at the "Dollar Store".  They have some cute embellishments this year.  You'll see more in the next coming post.  I am finally back to my craft room and hope to be doing more fun projects.
Just wanted to let you all know how much I have missed visiting your blogs and keeping up with your creations.  There is so much going on here right now.  My son got engaged at Christmas and the last few weeks he has had me go with him to look at houses.  He found a really sweet house not to far from where we live.  I am super excited and joyously happy for him.  We are waiting for a closing date.  In the meantime, we started looking for furniture.  You won't believe the used furniture you can find.  My goodness I picked up an all wood accent table with a beautiful grain design for $9.59.  Tonight my husband and I bought a beautiful solid wood 6 foot by 4 foot China Cabinet with pedestal legs for $100.   I figured if he doesn't want it, then I am keeping it.  So we have that going on.  Besides all this, my Mother is not doing well.  So I have days I am very very sad.  She is in Stage 4 COPD where it is effecting her heart, liver, and her weight is down to 78 pounds.  I am just worried sick about her.  Sometimes she doesn't answer the phone when I call and it scares me to pieces.  My brother is living with her and he doesn't pick up the phone either.  It's not like she can go anywhere except to the hospital-so ME, I always think the worst!  So anyway, just know I love you all and will be catching up soon.  Happy Crafting.  Here are the dies I used:

This is beautiful, Carol, and full of so much "love". You do wonderful work with those dies.

Gosh, you really have been busy. It's so much fun to help out your son with house-hunting and furniture buying. How fortunate they will be living close to you.

I'm so sorry to hear your Mom is doing so poorly. I know you are so anxious over it. I'm thinking of you, Carol, and sending big hugs.

I was just wondering if you're getting any snow or ice. We had a dusting of snow yesterday morning and 8 degrees this morning.

Carol, this is a beautiful card & I love all the glitter on it! I'm definitely going to have to check out the dollar store! I'm glad you have joyous news to help offset the worry about your mom. It's hard not to worry about someone you love. Cherish the time you do have with her and I'll add you both to my prayers.

You've been on my mind, Carol. It sounds like you've got so much on your mind, and on your plate. Poor Mom! That's scary. Keeping you in my prayers and thoughts, my friend. :)

PS - your Valentine creation is as beautiful as a big box of Godiva chocolates!

A beautiful new collection of delicate die cuts for the "master" of die cuts to show her beautiful art work! These designs must have been created with you in mind, Carol - the femininity, beauty, delicate and frilly nature of these pretties should have been called The Carol Collection. But your heart is far prettier than these. An incredible card with such remarkable layers, Carol! I don't know how you think up your designers, but my eyes delight in finding every minute detail! This is GORGEOUS! Will you be my Valentine? hugs, de :-)
