MMSC#45 Brick Wall Rose

Greetings everyone. Today I made a Sympathy card for the Midnight Madness Sketch challenge. This is not one of those cards that you like to make too many of. A former co-worker of mine lost her Mom, so I made this to give to her. The stamp is from Inkadinkadoo. I used the Martha Stewart Deco around the page punch and the deep cut fan as well. My main colors are black and white and I sponged Rangers tea dye ink on everything. This is the inside of my card. I really loved doing this technique. I guess you can tell that as I did it on the outside as well as the inside of the card. Thanks for looking at my card and I hope to see you this week as I am making my rounds for commenting.

Hi Carol

I saw this post show up in my bloglist last night, but i could not open it - it was really frustrating because I saw something beautiful and then I could not get a closer look. So I have been looking forward to today so see it. This rose is so fantastic, and your use of it is great! The colors makes it a real eyecathcer. Your coworker will love this - I know I do!

Carol, what a beautiful card! Your attention to detail on this lovely creation is flawless!
I love the way that you thought outside the box for the advanced level sketch this week! I had such problems with the bricks and opted for the simpler sketch. Your friend will certainly cherish this wonderful card.

Carol, this is a work of art! Pure masterpiece my friend! No one really likes sending sympathy cards but when your friend receives this it is sure to give her comfort. Your details are always tops in my book, it's like a little treasure hunt trying to find every single detail, then taking a second look to see what you missed the first time! Have I told you that before?
Outstanding work as always.
Hugs,
Charlotte
