Fred She Said Blog Hop-Peony in Jar

Well greetings Blog Hoppers. Welcome to the Fred She Said Blog Hop. If you just happened upon the blog hop then you can go here to start at the Fred She Said Blog. If you arrived here from Lora, then you are on the right tract. We would love to have your feedback so please leave us a comment.
At each stop on your way, there will be a special code word... collect them up and there will be instructions at the end of your journey on how to enter.
The winning entry will receive $20 GC for the Fred She Said Store AND.... (AND!) ... a $20 USD Gift Certificate for CropStop so you can get that punch, or dies, inks, or embellishments you have been having you eye on :)
We will receive entries until Thursday August 5th Midnight EDT.

Here is the order of Blog Hop participants in case you lose your way.

Carol H You are here!
Tracey ( end of your journey and blog hop entry instructions)

For my card I decided to use the peach colored peony. Did you know that peach is back in style. It went out for a while but it is coming back. After not using peach for so long, I am enthralled with this color!! This card actually features both the Colored Peony in the Jar and the Colored Corner Peony which you can find at the Fred She Said Store here. I broke out of my usual habit and learned how to flip the image to go the other way so I could bookend my focal point. It was a piece of cake.

You can see I cut out an extra bottle a pop dotted it for dimension here. Then I used glossy accents on top to make the glass shine! The flowers have a light accent of stickles for just the right about of sparkle.

My special word is "to".

Please go to Maria next and don't forget to leave us a comment. Thank you so much for visiting.

Bear Hugs,
Carol

I've said it before and I'll say it again, ALWAYS eye candy at it's best!! Love the details and all your punches, so fun! Love that you changed your background to match the card. It takes me so much to get everything back in place after doing that!! lol!

This is a beautiful card! But I have to admit it's a little to "busy" for me. I actually love the INSIDE of the card much better!

I hope you don't mind my being honest:)

Thanks for your comment! I really wish I could be bright, LOL. But you are so incredibly talented. I think you definitely have an amazing talent and a great future ahead of you. :) Have you considered pursuing a career in art/design (if you aren't already doing so)? I really love the layout of your blog, and of course, your beautiful cards.

My cousin also graduated from a Medical Coding and Billing program. It was a co-op program, but she still wasn't able to find a job afterwards. One day, when she went in to ask for a reference letter from the place she had "worked" at through the program, the people at the office told her another employee had recently left. They hired her on the spot to fill the opening. I've heard of many other stories about how jobs were just handed to some people (usually before these positions were opened to the public). I feel like getting a job is mostly about luck nowadays. However, it's sad that winning the employment "lottery" is just a ticket to hard work, long hours, and stress.
