Handsome Hydrangea

Greetings Peeps-here's a little number I did the other day.  I was choosing some paper for a card I was creating and came across this image I colored a long time ago with pencils and thought I would make a card with it.
This is a sketch I found on Feline Playful but it was one that was already closed-I loved it so much I had to do it anyway.  I also have missed using my sewing machine so I did lots of stitching on this card.  Now that Christmas is over-it is time to take out my Martha Stewart butterfly punches as well.

I used dusty concord distress ink on this card.  It was nicely tucked in my stocking at Christmas.  I just love this color.  I can see myself doing more "purple" colored cards because of it.

The pearls are recollection from Michaels.   The stamp is Inkadinkadoo Hydrangea.  It's one of my favorites.  Thanks for stopping by today.  Be sure to stop by Wednesday for Heartfelt Creations day.  I am trying to kick start my Mojo.  It has been cold the last few days.  I can hardly wait until it is light later at night.  It makes me want to stay out in my craft room longer.  I have lots of ideas and no time...lol  Take care, be happy, and create!!!!

Carol, what a beautiful creation! The colors are so vivid and cheerful - perfect for a winter day. I really like that ink on this - how super that your family was smart enough to get it and tuck it into your stocking (that is so fun). I hope you make more purple cards as you and purple make a great team. I saw some great purple raffia at Mike's yesterday and they also had some crystal flourishes marked down to 50 cents that were 20 cents when they rang up! BTW - I miss my Mike's tips from you. Hugz!

WOW! I want a garden full of these! Not the flowers, just a garden of these cards. Wouldn't that look beautiful? I would be the envy of the neighborhood and I would never have to water them! :D LOL
LOVE this outstanding card. So nicely done. :)

Oh, that purple hydrangea is just stunning, Carol! I can see why this is one of your favorites. I know what you mean about not being able to wait until it stays light later. I start losing my crafting light around 3:30 in the afternoon. Yikes!

Just beautiful, Carol! Great job with those pencils. I do miss them at times. This purple color is awesome. I'm with you about wanting more daylight in the evening...this darkness is so depressing. Anyway, you have a gorgeous card here.

Carol, you've combined two of my faves here: a hydrangea, and the color purple. Oh, joy! It's so beautiful! And yes, it's a good time to start bringing back your butterfly punchez. ;) Is your craft room in the garage? You mention going 'out' to it...If so, hope you have a heater and an air conditioner there!
